  1. I got a couple of them. One to wear and one to keep!

    Clockwork Angels sneakers?

I'd be interested in those depending on what they look like. What DO they look like? Are they done well or do they just have "Rush" printed on them?

They are Nike free 3.0 red. Story goes that there only 12 pairs made. 3 for the band and 9 for select crew members. They were made in Vietnam.

  2. Has anyone seen Imaginaerum and is it worth buying?? Can you give your opinion??

Funnily enough I just bought it today!

A weird movie. Ambitious and flawed but curiously enjoyable. Great soundtrack of course!

It's fairly cheap on DVD. I say go for it!

just bought the steelbook version $21.30 USD Looks interesting
  3. My oldest son came home from school last week and showed me something that made me smile.

He's 11 and really loves to listen to Rush. In the car, at home, wherever...he's up for anything I put in the player.

He enjoys Feedback a ton. Sadly, I deny him most of the time when he asks to crank up "Time Stand Still". When I played "I think I'm going bald" for the first time, he covered his ears and said "make it stop!" Spirit of Radio get's the air drumming juices flowing.

His absolute favorite album though is Signals, with Fly By Night a close second. He loves every groove of those records. Knows all the words. Can sing the melodies. Red Barchetta is his favorite song, but Rivendell is hot on it's heels. He's all about the stories they tell.

Hopefully, one day I can take him to a show...though that seems like a pipe dream. So guys, share your stories.

Just make sure you tell him tales of old! BTW frame it!

  4. I remember 25 years ago today- I remember where I bought it...I remember being a little bit underwhelmed by it at first, honestly. It was very modern, in a different way from the '80s albums. But then it also had a little more strongly guitar-based sound- a little more- than the mid/late '80s albums...and then there was the rap, of course, which was a huge to-do, at the time. I always liked the song, and I still do.

I don't listen to it often, but I've come to regard it as a really strong album. I've always liked it, but these days, and actually for the past couple of years, I really really like it! (I just listened to it a couple of days ago, incidentally

    Happy birthday Roll the Bones!

  7. I guess I don't understand why there's so much Neil hate? Has the guy not worked hard enough? Is it selfish for him to want to retire in his old age? Maybe I'm missing something he said?

People think Neil owes them something, and when he doesn't do what they want they get mad.

    Gina well said!!!

  9. Hello all! I was looking into getting the R40 Reconfigured box set because I don't have any rush DVDs and the bonus sounds nice. Only one question, does the bonus disc contain Live at Passaic NJ 1976 and The Molson Amphitheater 1997 like the regular boxed set, or is content cut from the reconfigured version? Thanks for your time!

I have actually wanted this for quite a while. I have all my DVD large box sets etc inside boxes in a Rush memorabilia cabinet and it is a pain to get it out and watch. This would be alot better. I have been waiting for them to discount but I probably will be waiting for a long time!!

    June 2nd, 1992

On a day off during the Roll The Bones tour, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson take batting practice with the California Angels.

Lifeson said he enjoyed the hitting, under the watchful eye of batting coach Rod Carew.

"He told me three things", Lifeson said. "First was 'Keep your hands out in front.' Then it was 'That's enough'. And third was 'Don't give up the day job.'" -San Bernardino County Sun.

Outstanding picture Rush and Baseball my 2 fav things!!!!!!!!!!
