QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Aug 17 2010, 12:22 PM) This is going to sound weird coming from me, but what's our rule on this board for selling tickets as far as price? Isn't it face value (+ fees?) only, no matter where the seller got the ticket from or how much he paid for it? thats a hard one..i think we all can agree that buying a ticket and coming onto our board only to ask for more than what you paid is total BS. This practice should not be tolerated . When someone gets a ticket from a broker they really are only trying to "break even"...I would like to get others opinion on the issue. Can we see proof of cost?

i believe thats the "loop girl" she works for a local radio station and goes to all the shows..probably isnt a rush fan anyway

i'm driving 3 hours to the show
i'm a little worried about waiting til the day of to buy tickets
do you think it's a slam dunk that 2 tickets will definitely be available?
i know they almost always release tickets its just unknown how many and when. more of a layup than slam dunk..if you get to the venue early i would suggest taking a lawn chair and cooler and "camp" out by the ticket window. Get friendly with the ticket seller and let them know you are looking to get tickets released by the band when they become avaliable. Also check ticketmaster prior to leaving. use the print at home or will call option and enjoy...hope this helps.

Let's make the courts solve all our personal problems and disappointments...
I am sure that you were in his shoes, you wouldn't have any problem at all being out several hundred dollars? You'd smile and laugh it off, I bet?
Ticket refunds for non-shows without a reschedule = common sense.
not sure i would "smile and laugh it off" but to sue? come on..heres to his 15 minutes of fame..
i have gone to several concerts, baseball games that were cancelled..comes with the territory. i had to dish out $$$ for extra nights hotel, loss of work, ect..i didnt sue anyone.

get your eyes checked..seriously. the optical nerve can cause severe headaches.
-
only way to get a meet and greet is to win one or know someone...cant buy them. you only get a photo, no autographs..
-
the shirts are usually not avaliable for purchase. design might be similar but not like the ones sold at concert or online.

i cant say im thrilled with the setlist(if in fact its close to the "real" one). i would love to have a "b"-side tour like alex stated in a documentary or article a few years ago. so i ask this. would you prefer a stripped down set, less people and all the obscure stuff or a stadium tour with all the bells and whistles? it is all about the music so i would love a B-side tour!! gimme a B-side tour!!!!
-
the tourbook in question was avaliable at the backstage club signed by all there guys..i got one but it was pretty $$$$$ one of my prized possesions, as well as my signed and used cymbal
-
if i could wave my magic wand...
one of my favorites but somehow the set list lacks "punch"?? xanadu, something...
-
easy fellas. jebren72 is only trying to make a point. I don't know any "posters" personally but i do know that jebren does know his stuff. not saying that the signals album is fake or not. if they were in a hurry MAYBE THAT'S WHY THE AUTOS LOOK DIFFERENT? i have been "tricked" in the past. i have numerous "real autos" and if the signals album is what the owner wants it to be then thats cool.
-
i have a sweet counterparts album framed and signed by geddy and alex. .
-
i got the signed version for $450 a few years back..willing to entertain offers for it.
-
there have been some on ebay from time to time..they sell on average for around $150.
