  2. I would love to go. Very expensive and it would be very hard to take in a festival during the middle of the semester. It has to be one of the greatest festival lineups ever.

And I'm crossing my fingers for some At The Drive In tourdates.

  3. I don't recall seeing this thread recently. But it's simple, just post your favorite music videos!

One of my recent favorites. I fell in love with this song recently when my buddy showed me this video. Kick-ass song, funny music video, and supposedly is was based on a real occurrence that happened to the band.

    Let's see your favorite videos!

  4. The ending may not have been the best in the world. But overall, I felt Lost was a pretty damn enjoyable experience. It had me coming back for more, and isn't that what a good television show should do?

pokey.gif This is one of the many faces of a Rush fan. yes.gif

Great pic, but I'm almost too afraid to ask what that is in your hand...

"The Shamrock Burger," or better known as, an overindulgent disgusting amount of meat. I definitely toughed through it though. burger2.gif

Yo must've been quite brave - I wouldn't've had the nerve...

I meant, you must've been brave. Blooming Autocorrect! facepalm.gif

  6. Just saw David Fincher's new film, "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo."

I must say, the main reason I went to this movie was because I'm an avid David Fincher fan. Fight Club, The Game, The Social Network, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Man, David Fincher knows his craft quite well. His most recent film wasn't an exception either. The narrative was great, editing and filming was wonderful, and Trent Reznor delivered another killer movie soundtrack. Has anyone out there on this forum read the books? I did a little research on wiki after I saw the film; I noticed that the Swedes have adapted the entire trilogy into films. Is the "Millenium" trilogy worth checking out? The original books and the Swedish movies? Because David Fincher's movie really intrigued me.

P.S. Is Mr. Fincher working on the whole trilogy?

  7. I finished up Snuff by Chuck Palahniuk a few days back. It's not his best novel by any means, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Now I'm diving into some political philosophy, Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes. Lastly, my bathroom reading lately is Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller.
