Buenos nachos. This has been quite a fun thread to read through. I have to go back and try to find all this good stuff. One I didn't see listed - Dog Years, right at 4:16 there is a slide whistle. Now that I know its there, I hear it every time (which isn't too often because, ya know, we're talking about Dog Years). Other small moments I like: - The chimes at the end of Bytor that keep playing right through the grooves of the original vinyl until you remove the needle. - The woosh at the end of Lamneth, after you think its over. - Hand Over Fist - The guitar squeal right after "you know I've hated that song for so long". - Geddy's diabolical "die-rection" in Earthshine (when they look in my diirection). - As with the magic-everlasting note at the end of the Limelight solo, Alex does it again at the end of solo in Red Tide (albeit not as organically). - The guitar feedback during the first few notes of Stick It Out. - Hemispheres: Finally, after a years time, the last 2 chords from the end of Cygnus X-1 are played. Also, the faint reprise of moments from Cygnus X-1. So many others...

I don't think I'm spoiling anything. We all know which 2 are unknown here. #2 really sounded like Xanadu - you know the part I'm thinking of right? But I think I may have it now. But #3 - I have no clue. Greetings to The Writer and all others. I had some time and poked around this forum for a bit when I found this thread. It has been enjoyable to rediscover the albums through someone else's eyes. Being the same age as The Writer, I had similar experiences discovering Rush the first time around. One difference being that I never lost contact with Rush and they have part of my musical life since I was a punk 13 year old kid. I did a similar "revisiting" of the albums in another forum years ago and found it to be a lot of fun. Looking forward to hear your take on the remaining albums. And seeing what else this forum has to offer.
