QUOTE (Relaxed_Jack @ Aug 24 2004, 06:26 AM) LIMELIGHT
Who doesn't want those 15 minutes, ya know?I think you're a little backwards on this... Neil obviously doesnt want them...
I'll have to say Witch Hunt

Natural Science, just plain best, I think
-
Hemispheres!!! An amazing feat in writing... musically and lyrically... plus La Villa is WAY better in the exit... stage left recording
-
A Farewell to Kings because it is so complicated but sounds so smooth, and I love Alex's classical playing. Plus, there are better live versions of both Xanadu and Cygnus, IMO.

Right now Twilight Zone gets my vote, even though 2112 is an alltime favourite I love this song at the moment
-
The Fountain for sure, totally experimental and awesome, I love when Alex plays classical, since I was trained that way... however if I'm stoned I can't resist the lure of the Necromancer
-
Best I can gets my vote, since I can really relate to it and love Geddy's shrieking, and it sounds like it could have fit onto the first album and its always neat hearing what neil can do with those rock songs with lots of space... In the End is killer too, but mostly on All the World's A Stage.

I almost said Before and After... but come on... Working Man is a classic!!
As for Asian Rush Fan's question, Pink Floyd would open first if anyone because they rarely had opening acts... besides if Rush opened first it would be backwards... Pink Floyd and Rush are both intelligent bands that need to be listened to to appreciate, but Rush live has a lot more get-up-and-jump energy, and it would be strange to sit down and listen to pink floyd afterwards.
