QUOTE (Natural Rush @ Aug 21 2006, 02:43 PM) I would like to see Queensryke but OM2 is not very good sadly !!!
NaturalYou are right. I bought it today...no where near as good as OM.

Just Got my tix for the Queensryche OM2 show in Hotlanta.

Not too bad, considering it's a two piece band.
I'm impressed with your ability to sing, and cover the drum part pretty well. I'm ignoring the fact that was not in tune.
-
I tend to look at what I'm striking...makes sense to me.
-
This is a typical beginner kit. Why would you dump more money into it to make it bigger? Bigger is not always better.
Spend a few extra bucks and get an intermediate kit.
-
That kit is fine for someone who is wanting to learn. If you don't beat the crap out if it, you won't have to worry about replacing heads & cymbals.
Before you buy, make sure the shells are round, and the bearing edges (angled part of the shell that makes contact with the drum head) are in good shape.

QUOTE (Planet X-1 @ Jun 6 2006, 11:30 AM) I`d have to go with:
Sgt. Rock and Sgt. Jeb Stuart.
There was also this creepy dead soldier who haunted soldiers.Holy Crap!
I can't believe someone on here is a fan of these two series...
Sgt Rock & G.I. Cobmat (The Haunted Tank) are great!

I enjoy plinking & wing shooting.
My current collection:
Shot guns - LC Smith side by side, Gastienne Rennea (sp? I'd have to look to get the spelling correct) side by side, Remington Sportsman 48 & a Beretta 390.
Rifles - 2 Ruger 10/22's - both tricked with aftermarket bullpup stocks and other cool gadgets.
Hand guns - Beretta Tomcat .32 & Sig P-232.
I had a nice collection of assault rifles - AK, AR, SKS & FN, but those had to go when my daughter was born.

Back 20 years ago...when I was in a gigging band, I never screwed around with any visuals at all. No stick stuff...no over exaggerated movements. That stuff's cool and fun to look at, but it's just not for me.
First & foremost is keeping good time, and covering the parts as close to the original recording as possible (if you're a cover band).
-
Coated G2's over clear G1's for toms. EQ4 on the kick & HD Dry on my snare.
-
Die cast on everything except kick which is wood...stock Tama stuff.
-
Great job...especially the Tama kit.
i'm playing some Rush tunes
