  1. See what I did there? I put a comma. I thought the grammar and quotation police were only on the dumb websites like Facebook . I like all the intelligent people on this website, but when it comes to quotation and grammar, is it really necessary? I’ll just keep doing it wrong on purpose at this point. And if I don’t reply to you ,that’s my reply .I still can’t stop thinking big dick.lol

But you are replying...you're replying right now (or here, in this post), so why not do it correctly?

    Oh, right...your perogative...

    carry on.

  2. I can’t stop thinking big, dick

Oh, so you don't quote on purpose...

    Ok, well, that's kinda dick-ish.

    But, whatever...your perogative. :sarcastic:

  3. It’s extremely funny how there are extreme opinions on this forum. Rush is done. Neil is an ass waves is a 70s disc . I think the first Rush album gets no respect. Same with all music past mp. It’s cool that we all have different opionions. I just think all their music is top shelf. Too many people stuck from fbn to mp .

That Permanent Waves is a 70s album is not an "extreme opinion": it's just the truth.

I can't tell you how many times I had to read that sentence to realize it's missing a coma.

I can't tell you how many times I had to read that sentence to realize it's missing an m.

It makes so much more sense now.

    Thank you.

    :eyeroll:

    D'OH!

I'm here thinking Neil and ass waves, and wtf is he going on about?

It makes so much more sense now.

    Thank you.

  5. Please tell me we're talking about baseballs and broken windows.

    Yes.

That is exactly what we're talking about.

No, no, shut up, that is what we're talking about, baseballs and broken windows.

    Exactly.

    Nothing more.

    Shut up.

    LALALALALALA, I can't hear you.

For once agree with Tony. You are an dick.

    Good to be a dick

See? See? How neat that looks?

  7. Good to be a dick

    :eh:

Do you still not know how to quote someone else's post?

Seriously, there's no need to make a new post to reply to something in the previous post, you can combine the two (or more)...

See the quote buttons at the bottom right corner of this post>...>...>...>...>...v...v...v...v...v...look down there, they are next to the report and edit buttons.

Click quote (or multi quote if you want to put more than one post in your reply),

See the last part of the text that looks like this /quote wrapped in brackets that look like these [ ] ?

Click the cursor right after that and type your reply.

Click post, and presto! your post will have those quotes in them plus your reply all in the same neat, tidy, little, easy to understand and read package.

  8. Have them.

    :(

I know you're what, 19 now? Did you get to see any?

Just turned 20 a couple weeks back. My dad and I saw R40 in Chicago and that was my first concert ever.

It was great, but yes I will only ever have that one.

Rush was (were) my first concert ever as well, back in '81.

But as poignant as that is, like JB said^^^ "One is better than none" and what a one it was, especially for your first.

  9. I've been on this "Boredom" since 2006 and I've always been ripped apart for being on drugs or being crazy!!!

God or Universe! I love the IRONY!!

You haters are the one who need really get checked out!

    Leave That Thing Alone!

    LEAVE ME THE FUCKK ALONE!

Good thing I actually made some great friends on here along the way.

    But, fuckk it.

Good luck newbies and young people on here who don't know me.

    Just ignore me.

    I'm used to it! HAHAHAHA!

    HIJACK OVER!

Enjoy your life DD! You were always one of the good apples who got me.

    RUSH ON!

Wasn't there a play or a musical somewhere that you wrote that I was supposed to proofread?

  10. I read Meg...but it's been a while. I can't attest to the shittiness of it. I remember finding the idea of a shark the size of a school bus intriguing, but that's really all I remember of it. I kind of want to see the movie in the theater...just because it looks like something fun to see on the big screen. Not like I think it'd be some great work of cinematic genius. Probably won't though, guess our big screen tv will have to be 'big enough' once it's released to video.

It's remarkably shitty. The Japanese love-interest is described as being "almond eyed" on at least two occasions. The Japanese father of love-interest grew up in the US but still refers to the protagonist as "Taylor-san". There is also a long and pointless forward ("Origins" I assume?) and an opportunity to enter a contest to have your name used in his next edition of shit-lit.

Bad writing abounds in this book. Even worse than "the Unnameable One". :o

"That's me! By the way, have you seen my wife's balls?"

"This is such a nice ball. So...round."

    :laughing guy:

    That shitty, eh? Daaaaaaaaaamn.

    That's some shitty shit.

  11. That point in the darkness when everyone is scrambling to their spots on stage and that first recognizable note...bliss, sweet bliss. heart racing w/ excitement. This, this is where I am supposed to be.

The stage props were funny and fun. The dolls w/ the post-its, the ever changing line up of dinosaurs. Dryers and chickens and the ever evolving crew to tend to them. The whole thing felt like we the audience were let in on some personal joke.

Geddy and Alex's interaction on the stage...their joking around, they just looked so happy and jovial all the time.

Their dance moves...especially during certain songs...

The lights...oh lord the lights, from the very beginning (and my first was Moving Pictures). The green lazer beams made to look solid by smoke...just so completely awesome. Over the years the lights evolved...the beams now came in multi-colors, the lights above the stage took on futuristic ufo qualities, but never ceased to delight me.

There was always at least one moment in a concert that I'd feel emotionally overwhelmed and driven to tears. Happy tears. Not usually the same song (though sometimes)...it's that moment, that moment of complete happiness that transcends everything else, That's the moment I miss the most.
