Awesome! Glad to hear. Enjoy every minute of this. I just celebrated my sons 20th birthday. It seems like only yesterday I could hold him on one arm. Now he's taller than I am. Goes by so fast.

I'm glad you have found work and you're making money but I personally would rather work fast food, bussing tables, jizz moper.....anything but cold caling. I got sucked into that for less than an hour when I was around 17. Terrible experience.
My advice, keep looking.

Geddy lip synched the "ohhhhhs" in the Earthshine" pre-chorus. It's totally obvious watching the video that he is at least 6" away from the mic.
He's old.

Brain dead clients.
Sent the guy two antique street light fixture cut sheets to choose from...the first page of each cut sheet is a large PICTURE of each light fixture....he sends me an Email back asking me to explain the aesthetic differences between each light fixture.

Sorry but no. Oranges and apples.

ESL. He did so much with the technology available at that time. ESL, to me, is the Lerxt signature sound. I would have loved to have seen them live on this tour.

QUOTE (LerxstLuthier @ Aug 30 2012, 05:12 PM) hehe...still alive and kicking!
The Hentor will be back with Alex this week. I don't know if he's going to take it out on tour though.
As far as my schedule goes I build from autumn through spring, so the first ones will be ready early 2013.Awesome.

QUOTE (bigalfan @ Aug 27 2012, 12:03 PM) QUOTE (rushfanNlv @ Aug 27 2012, 02:39 PM) To the OP: stop trying to understand and just learn to ignore. It's your only hope.
For some odd reason, there are tons of people in the world who love old Rush and hate new Rush but they are somehow drawn to this and other forums to talk about how much they hate the new Rush. It is very strange for sure but I can tell you, I have seen it happen on this forum for years now. One would think that if one hates something, one would simply move on and find something else to do but that is not the case here. Scientists all around the world are baffled.

QUOTE (kevind2112 @ Aug 24 2012, 10:33 AM) QUOTE (Merely Space @ Aug 24 2012, 01:11 PM) Geddy plays rhythm guitar during the outro of Xanadu, and A Passage to Bangkok. Correct. He plays it from the guitar solo on through the end of the tune.
This. Listen during the guitar solo, you can hear Ged strumming the 6 string and playing bass pedals with his feet.

The word "Masterpiece" is a bit strong IMO. Great album. I love it.

Hope all is well.

I really dig this song. Lyrics and music are perfect. I think the message can be applied in many aspects of my life.

Several here in Las Vegas - only been to one.
FUKU Burger - Wife raves about this place - never been myself.
My best friend Greg purchased a Food Truck and is in the process of developing a Menu and theme. Can't wait for that.

QUOTE (CygnusX-1Bk2 @ Aug 20 2012, 11:59 AM) Classic Album series 2112 & Moving Pictures. Yes on DVD. SO are a bunch of other great albums. They are listening to the original multitrack transfers/tapes on these shows. Thanks!

QUOTE (SignatureAurora75 @ Jul 15 2012, 12:28 PM) I know we've talked a little about this before, but-
I just got through watching the documentary on 2112 and Moving Pictures. I was really intrigued watching Terry Brown push some buttons on the mix and hearing him play the isolated tracks.
It got me thinking - It shouldn't be that hard for them to release the albums now days digitally with separate mixes. That would allow the regular joe schmoe to weed them out and have as much fun with it as he wishes.
Anyone can pretty much have a mixing console, am I right? Right on their home computer? Isn't there more sophisticated software now that basically kills those big ole mixing boards? I know that Audacity allows you to mix tracks and such, but I don't think it's proably that sophisticated.
My god what a treat that would be for me. I would just kill to hear Alex's isolated guitar on Hemispheres.
What's it going to take to get them to release all that? Do you think it's as simple as I imagined? Are we going to have to start a petition? What documentary was this? Is it available on DVD?
Alex solo- I just have to ask *Spoiler alert*
