Tonight.....I'll start out with a dram or two of Highland Park 12 year, and then with dinner, I'll share a bottle of Rodney Strong cabernet. Then possibly back to some SMS!!

I know its a blend, but anyone know how "Black Bottle" is? I hear its very good. I have a bottle on order at my local liquor store.

I have recently gotten into whisky. First it was irish whiskey, some bourbon and now scotches. The irish stuff is a bit sweet for me although it is very smooth. The bourbon I tried, Makers Mark, is was to sweet to me
As far was scotch. I like Johnny Walker Black, Teacher's and Dewer's 12 for blends. As far as single malts go, I have not had much yet. The Glenlivet and Glenmorangie were very good to me, but The Macallan 12 tasted to much like rubber to me! Sorry Neil, I love ya, but..................Anyways, I guess I am not much for sherry cask stuff. I think i'll try Highland Park 12 next.
