QUOTE (ReflectedLight @ Apr 12 2010, 06:38 PM) see i don't feel like i need to be up close so i'm not sweating it. Same here.
I'm planning on seeing them at the ACC and I'm willing to pay around $100 for my ticket. I figure that should get me a fairly good seat. And now, since we finally got high speed internet, the whole online ticket buying process is much less nerve racking No more worries about the page freezing just at the time is about to run out and it no longer takes say 4 min and 45 seconds to load a page which leaves around 15 seconds to fill in ALL of your information. I still get rather tense when buying tickets, but it's nothing compared to the old days I also plan on catching them at the NY State Fair, and I believe tickets are only $65 for that show. So maybe I'll spend a bit more for the ACC show, I will have to see. Either way, although having a seat up close would be nice, it's not a huge deal. I mean as long as I'm not so far away that they could swap out the boys for cardboard cut outs and I wouldn't notice, it'll be ok.
I'm just very very excited to see them in concert again. Even more so to catch them twice on this tour. Rush is the greatest band on the face of the planet, IMO, and seeing them live, especially when they will be pulling some old tunes out of the vault, is an experience that can't be beat!

QUOTE (theguyincygnusx1 @ Apr 11 2010, 09:58 PM) I plan to attend both Toronto shows, and with the tickets at the prices they are, I think I'll be hitting the lawn for the Molson show. Is the lawn as bad as people on here say it is? Can you see anything? Are the ticket prices up for the Toronto shows?? Or are you just speculating based on the prices of other tickets.

My truck just rolled over 72112 km this week!!
On a side note, I would like to note that this is my 3000th post!!!
-
I went with the Woo-Hoo that had four exclamation marks
Moving Pictures is an amazing album and one of my all time favourites. I can't wait to hear The Camera Eye live, for the first time might I add. I love that tune. I'm also very excited to hear Red Barchetta, YYZ, Vital Signs will be cool and I'm really looking forward to hearing Witch Hunt again
So basically, hearing the whole thing is going to be freaking awesome!!!!
-
I'm planning on two.
The second Toronto show and then the NYS Fair

QUOTE (PuppetKing2112 @ Apr 9 2010, 05:24 PM) This would make the MP performance even cooler to me...they could use it as a throwback to the ESL days, except Neil could do his modern, 8-minute solo in the middle of YYZ. Would anyone else like this? The ESL version freaking rocks!!! The solo fits in seamlessly. And I love how it transfers from the drum solo into the guitar solo Simply epic. Two amazing face-melting mind-blowing solos in one convenient package, don't get much better than that

QUOTE (theguyincygnusx1 @ Apr 9 2010, 05:20 PM) QUOTE (greg2112 @ Apr 9 2010, 03:34 PM) I'd love to see that show, not only bc its Toronto, but because its an indoor arena, which is far better than any shed. You'd be surprised. Shows at the Molson Amphitheatre are much better than shows at the ACC.
The last time I saw them was at the Molson Amphitheatre and it was an AMAZING show!!! Just excellent. Now I haven't seen them at the ACC, I will be this time around, but I did catch them at Scotiabank Place and although it was also an excellent show, and my first Rush concert , the Amphitheatre topped it. It's a very good place to see a concert

I'm still really hoping for Jacob's Ladder
Xanadu would be nice, complete with double neck guitars
And since they are playing all of MP, I get to hear Witch Hunt

I've seen Rush twice, once in Ottawa and once in Toronto. Both shows were amazing The Ottawa one holds a special place in my heart because it was my first Rush concert, but as far as crowds go, Toronto takes the cake.

I've been getting all my tickets through LiveNation lately and I haven't had a problem
