I haven't really been into video games of any sort for quite a few years, but Red Dead Redemption has me hooked.

    This game is awesome! 1022.gif

    Anybody else playing this?

Haven't tried it yet but I was thinking about maybe picking it up.

I'm guessing it's worth the price??

    It does look amazing yes.gif

I'm really looking forward to seeing them tomorrow night!!! It will be my first Porcupine Tree show yes.gif From what I've heard, they are amazing live 1022.gif Should be an excellent evening smile.gif

Now, a question about tickets. I chose the TicketFast option and I'm wondering if I have to print my ticket in colour or will black and white be fine?? I don't see why it wouldn't be  confused13.gif

I have no idea about your ticket. I would imagine that it wouldn't matter. Don't take my word for it, though. Call the venue.

As for Porcupine Tree live? You'll be amazed. I've seen a lot of bands that I love live, and that has to in the top three, if not the top of the top three. Intense and perfect. These guys really deliver. It's entrancing to watch how they interpret their music live.

Ya, I will call the venue tomorrow. I've used TicketFast before and I believe that I printed my tickets in colour, but this time I printed them at work in black and white. But as nappy2112 said, it should only be the bar code that matters, which will be black and white either way. I'll call just to be sure.

Right on, thats good to hear yes.gif I glanced at some of the set lists from their last few shows. Tomorrow night is looking/sounding more amazing all the time 1022.gif Can't wait!!!!!

So I wasn't planning on going to this show, mostly because it's on a Sunday night and taking the following Monday off work isn't really an option, but now after some more consideration, I think I'm going to attend. Ottawa is only a few hours from my house so the commute wouldn't be too bad. Plus, I have the option of staying the night with family in Ottawa after the show, so I may end up doing that and then get up early and head to work from there. Hmmm... decisions decisions.

About the time of the show, it says 8 pm at the main page but then when you go to the ticket page it says 12 noon confused13.gif

The Bluesfest is a whole event that goes on for weeks. Your ticket is good for the whole day. Before seeing Rush at 8 you can go to bars, see other bands on the side stages etc.

Ya, I get the whole Bluesfest layout, I went to it a few years ago to see ZZ Top, it was awesome yes.gif

I was just wondering about the start time for the show. I saw both 8 pm and 12 noon listed. However, 8 makes more sense.

They have so much of a  back catalog i don't want time wasted

    I agree.

Count me in on this thought! NEVER!!!

    Ditto

    + 1 yes.gif

When I go to a Rush concert, I want to see Rush and Rush only. I've paid good money for the ticket and I want to get my money's worth. And with Rush, you always do yes.gif A very worth while investment 1022.gif

  7. That is freaking sweet yes.gif

However I wish they had of made the announcement sooner. I would have made some different choices about the shows I'm going to this summer. I was wondering why they didn't have an Ottawa date listed. Oh well, I get to see them twice and that's nothing to complain about no.gif And there is always next year. I bet they will rock at Blues Fest!!!! 1022.gif

Alright, I think I did Okay. Section 120 row 17. about $155 per ticket, and thats my money. I had a hold of row 14 floor for $350 but my Dad advised me against it. So I think I got some good seats for a better price. And they are touring next year, so I probably will do multiple shows when they have more Canadian dates. I see nothing wrong with not being on the floor so, like I said, I think I did alright.

My Dad said he wouldn't pay $350 for a ticket even if God himself was performing miracles on stage LOL.

I'm guessing you got your tickets through a presale of some kind??

Yes, but I did not get the $350 ones.

I didn't think you did. I considered getting myself one for about oh... 3 seconds laugh.gif

  9. I went with "They were ok or not so great - it would have been better they never existed - they tarnish the Star Wars legacy"

I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I've seen the original ones countless times and never grow tired of them. The Empire Strikes Back is my all time favourite! Such an epic film yes.gif I still remember the first time I saw the Hoth battle. It was the most amazing thing I had ever laid eyes on. The AT-ATs blew my mind 1022.gif

Like so many others, I was really excited to see the new movies and like so many others, I was disappointed. Now, I do think that the new ones have some really good battle/action sequences, but overall, I'm not a big fan. They've got nothing on the original 3.
