Really looking forward to Faith No More's new one. Maybe a new Rival Sons album. Robert Deleo just tweeted that he, his brother and Kretz are back in the studio ( no Weiland though):(

I think it's The Macallan!

The high-res Sectors sets are worth it to me. 96kHz/24 bit. I can clearly hear a difference. The seperation of the instruments and depth of the overall sound is fantastic. Just my opinion. I've purchased many 192kHz/24 bit albums by other artists. The high-res is remarkable. Steely Dan's Gaucho is one in particular that sounded so much better than the CD.

I have been listening to this song for 34 years, and yesterday I heard something I've never noticed before. During the last part of Alex's solo, Geddy, or somebody else, is singing along to the guitar notes.
I have recently purchased the Sectors Series 1,2 & 3 in 96kHz/24 bit HD Audio and am listening to the entire catalog 1 abum at a time chronologically. It's amazing how much more detail I am hearing! I can't wait to get to PWs.

QUOTE (lonelymoon @ Jun 26 2012, 05:11 PM) I like the violin. And I like Alex's rip off of Kurt Cobain's "All Apologies" that he plays under the violin part. (this is just before the acoustic chords, for those of you with limited familiarity with the song) That's the bass not the guitar," for those of you with limited familiarity with the song"

Should say: featuring The Camera Eye. I've seen Rush 21 times since 1982 and have seen them play Tom Sawyer 21Xs, Red Barchetta 10Xs, YYZ 18Xs, Limelight 16Xs, The Camera Eye 1X, Witch Hunt 4Xs, and Vital Signs 8Xs....how about Caress of Steel in its entirety? Or Hemispheres!
With Moving Pictures short running time (45mins or so), I hope we are in for some more surprises! How about The Necromancer!!!1

when I started out on guitar in 1979 I think Elliott Easton was my inspiration...then when I really got into RUSH (1981) I took up bass and the first song I learned was Red Barchetta... so Geddy for bass as well as many, many others

QUOTE p.s. don't laugh at me-I've never saw a real Moog in my life (except on pictures and videos), so I may be wrong in basic don't worry about rocinantekid's reaction...by the look of his profile pic, he's never seen a real Moog either...or a real girl for that matter

thank you for your response, the trouble was a bur on the tuning peg... I filed it and will try again soon...thanks again!
-
I know how to play it...I just can't tune my 12 string DADAAD without breaking the G strings, I know it's only 1 step up, but I've broken about 6 of them. Any gauge suggestions? I've been using .008 & .017 G strings, but they keep breaking! HELP!!!

part V. Cygnus Bringer of Balance, I believe ... I am not positive but I think the chords beneath.." I have memory and awareness
But I have no shape or form...etc" are the Roland guitar synth.
