I think it is going to be a Pre-Paid Menu where there will be a couple of choices to choose from and an open bar from what he said.Quite a shock, but it made me quite happy. While sitting down for lunch in the Teachers Lounge a Co-Worker and fellow teacher approached me and asked me out on a date. He asked me if I would like to attend a Bow Tie Dinner with him this Saturday evening. I said yes as this guy is very nice and also attractive. He may be 34 years old, which is several years older than me but that is no problem. He has always been nice to me since I started teaching 2 years ago. So since I haven't been on a date since college I am pretty excited and happy about this.
Congrats!! Have a great time. :D
BTW, order the most expensive item on the menu. :P

Here is my advice the vinyl will always be there. Go out and get a job and keep the money you have for the essentials right now. I say return the album.

That is fantastic. I also had gymnastics which I started way back at the age of 5 and went to the age of 17. I really enjoyed my time doing gymnastics.
I do love music and Rush, but Art is my end all be all. It has always been Art for me since I was little.
Love it. Sometimes this Stinkerbell feels like giving the finger gesture from time to time as well. :)http://orig00.deviantart.net/95be/f/2015/128/6/d/stinkerbell_small_by_imajinn_design-d8slqnm.png

Hello, Stinkerbell! Another fan of all you mentioned in your original post! I'm a little older, and encompass The end of the 50s [from the radio] and The Beatles were my first Mega-Band, Supplanted By RUSH after I saw them on the "Kirshner's Rock Concert" show late in '74. The minute I saw Neil and his 'kit', I was OWNED! Anyhow, good to see you here, and welcome to the Club! [Joe Walsh]

Hello Stinkerbell and welcome
I am relatively new here and managed to blot my copy book straight away!!!! ha ha
Please don't take any comments too personally and react, sadly I made that mistake early on and have regretted it ever since
If anyone really upsets you then just speak to one of the admin like 73, he is a really good guy and laid back and pretty tolerant.
99% of people on here are great, just identify the 1% and ignore it.
Just find your way and get to know people.
Take care
Stevie ;) ;) ;)

@OldRushfan: thank you for the welcome and you have great taste in music.
@Steve Smith: thank you for the welcome. I don't pay attention to comments like that at all. I stay away from all that sort of stuff as I don't have time for any of that. I have been enjoying myself here a lot.
As do you! Music is my end all and be all.... I LOVE to have people around me who do that also! Most all of my friends in my youth were BIG into music...making it as well as listening to it...Mondo Stereos in their cars etc.

Same here with music and I! My parents bought me an album in '65, "The Chipmunks Sing The Beatles' Hits" [ Which I still own and on CD also] and my favorite thing back then was playing that record on my portable record player in my room and using my Mom's Tupperware and wooden spoons for my 'Kit' to play along! Percussion is IN MY SOUL!!! I learned the real deal in middle and High School, and keyboards also! Chimes, Xylophone, Vibraphone, Marimba, Tympani and Glockenspiel! Here's my Kit in '77...

I REALLY LOVE PERCUSSION!!!

That might be my favorite album and Heart Of The Sunrise is easily my fave from Fragile.

You are correct. I just didn't have the Italian Bread and the stuff to make it and was too damn lazy to go to the store and get a loaf of Garlic Bread.
Didn't have that this time.Lasagna and a Salad.
Don't forget the garlic bread. :D
But that's the best part, piling some lasagna on top of a piece of garlic bread, and eating it like an open-faced sandwich.

The last guy/boy that hit on me was at the local Mall when I was shopping with a friend of mine. He must have been dared to go up and ask for my phone number by his friends. The funny thing is the boy was 16 years old. So he came up to me and said, Hi, I'm (I'll refrain from using his name). I think you are hot. Can I give you my phone number and maybe we can talk? I said, " Oh sweetie, How old are you?" He said I'm 16. I said, "Sweetie if I took your phone number and gave you mine and we went out you would have to visit me in jail." He was like, What? I said, " I am 25 years old." His face turned blood red and he began to become so apologetic with I am so sorry Ma'am's I have heard in a long time. This whole time this was going one my friend was looking on laughing her ass off. There are advantages to being 25 and looking like I am 15, but that sure the hell isn't one of them. :)

That is so awesome. Congratulations.A special day for me, for many, many reasons: I´m coming back from an injury that stopped me from running for several weeks, and today was the first race I took part in after recovering; also, it was the last until we fly out of Brazil. And more importantly, carrying Stella to the finish line was a dream I had since I learned I was going to be a parent. Check it out:

Being a girl, I just can't do it in a Gas Station bathroom or something like that. We gals can't stand to take a piss. I suppose I could squat over a nasty toilet to pee, but that is still nasty. Now when I am on a very long State To State drive to go on vacation and I stop at a Rest Area on the Interstate that is somewhat difference in cleanliness. I can use those rest areas.

I would tell my Mom and that's it. Since I have no siblings or a SO at this time that would be it.
