What dafuq happened to this place. Everyone's at each others throats over petty bullshit.
And for the record I refuse to accept that Rush ever made a bad album.

TrueRushFan™
in Rush
Apparently I'm not a true fan because I only bought 7 albums legally.
Or maybe I wanteed to experience Rush's entire body of work in the shortest time possible after having my mind blown by the progressive rock era without monetary constraints

Everyone seems to be riding neil like a show pony but forgetting Alex also has an arthritis and had some say in this being the last large tour...
Let the butthurt flow through you, young padawan

They have been since the latter part of 2112.

@Presto123.
Whoo I thought the folks at Busch saw me a lot.
Top Fuel Dragster is very similar, albeit straight track with the climb and drop, Kingda Ka isn't much taller but includes a corkscrew on the drop.
And if you love Millenium Force you'll be right at home at KD. Intimidator 305 is the sister coaster.

@Presto123
I'm actually planning on heading to Six Flags New Jersey this summer just to ride Kingda Ka.

Thanks for the support, and yes I'm a regular season pass holder. I go mainly for the coasters but since Seaworld bought the park the shows are top notch.
In fact for Christmas Town they had a show based off the night before christmas story with Olympic gold medalist Elvis Stojko.
If you get a chance to visit go for it! If you're a coaster nut go to Kings Dominion as well, They have one of the best coasters in the country.

Yep. I'm schizo-affective bi polar type, however I'm more prone to mania and depression than psychosis.
I wish I wouldve discovered this band about a decade ago, my taste in music back then made things worse.
Back in 2010 got laid off and couldn't afford meds, end result was me being in the ICU for 4 days followed by 2 day involuntary hospitalization.
Wish I wouldve had that song back then, it saved my ass a couple years back after getting cheated on with what at the time I considered to be the love of my life.
Nonetheless, Rush have been hugely theraputic for me and will always hold a very special place in my heart. :)

@RushHead
Vapor Trails was amazing.... Especially Ghost Rider, vapor Trails and Secret Touch. It was like Niel was letting everyone know he'd be ok.
The sound quality was shit but considering how long it took to write and record the album its understandable that it was
ost likely rushed.
Two solutions: Vapor Trail Remixed or good headphones. :)

I had a dream the night of R40 Bristow that I met them.... alas thats as far as Ill get.

I have this issue but only with burned discs. (Its nice to be able to play 2112 and The Spirit of Radio back to back) Plus I'm clumsy as can be. Finger prints and scratches galore. :)

Hold Your Fire was actually the last Rush album I listened too in its entirety. I was initially thrown off but after Prime Mover played in my ear buds one night while out walking I was mesmerized.
Hold Your Fire has become my favorite heavily synthed 80s album right after Power Windows.

I'm honestly against replacing band members.
Saw Drowning Pool in 04 after they replaced the singer following his death. Not only were the vocals off but with the new singers personalitu it just wasn't the drowning pool I had fallen in love with in middle school.
Then there's Metallica. They lost their passion for music following Cliff's death. They replaced him just to keep the paychecks rolling in.
Given that Rush at least to me stands against mainstream commercialism and mass consumerism replacing Niel would feel like a gut punch to most of the die hard rush fans out there.

Well there was that and getting ditched by forum members at the pre-show meet up due to being high as gas.... But f**k em, I'm back. :D

Hemispheres hands down. It was Rush's magnum opus. The insturmental arrangements, time & mood signatures, lyrical styling etc. Everything was perfect. Its deff their most genius and complicated album without a shadow of a doubt.
I still get lost in La Villa Strangiato.

I almost punched my tablet after coming across a similar post on one Rush FB group and looking like an ass/pissing people off in another FB group.

Well I guess if I had to.nominate anyone, it'd be this young lady. Niel even sent her a video message telling her to keep up the good work.
