I finally get to swallow the Arrogant Bastard. He is a bit bitter, but I did swallow.

He is kicking my ass. I kinda like it. 1022.gif

The first time I tried AB it seriously kicked me ass as well.. I could barely finish one 22 oz bottle. But now I'm an old pro.

    Currently sipping Crown Royal.

My beer guy finally got these in. He's had some Stone stuff for a while now, but not these. I've never had it before tonight, but it was worth the wait. Easily one of my top three fave pale ales now.

I think that is new for Stone, I'd never seen it before until just recently. It's the same price as the IPA and I like the IPA so much that I haven't tried the Pale Ale yet. But since you say it's good I'll have to try it.

I think it's outstanding. They've had it for years, just couldn't find it anywhere. They've brewed it since at least 2003. When I was in CA with you guys I couldn't find it out there either, which was weird since it's brewed there.

Check out how far back the reviews go on BA: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/147/87

BevMo just started carrying it within the past few months, so I figured it was new (since BevMo generally has everything...) I check the Stone section every time I'm in there. Next time I'll pick some up!

  4. One of my favorites of all time. I have the Director's Cut sitting right here in front of me.. About time to watch it ... again.

    My favorite line:

Doc: If you weren't my friend, I don't think I could ... bear it.

(you HAVE to hear Val Kilmer deliver that line.. classic.)

Agreed. Val Kilmer should have won an Oscar for that performance. One of the best acting jobs of all time.
