QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ Jun 3 2008, 09:44 AM) Lois/Leia - "Govenor Tarkin, I reckognised your foul stench as soon as I was brought on board."
Stewie/Darth Vader - "Um, actually, that was me. I made a Darth Doodie. I Sithed in my pants. My diaper's gone over to the Dark Side. I've got pages of these, I can go on."

Picked it up today. Wow.. Best since And Justice..
Great production, great sound.. Return of the riff masters...

Old Grandad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Not bad for $8 a bottle.

QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Jun 26 2008, 06:58 AM) Hard to pick. But I'd lean towards The Shawshank Redemption. It might even be perfect Hands down.. Best ever.
I watched it once.. I may never watch it again...

HEAT
I had this one on the shelf for years, finally watched it 2 nights ago.. Very entertaining.
DeNiro was simply awesome. Out-acted Pacino IMO. The plot was predictable, but the acting was superb.. 8/10.
PS: don't start this movie at 10:30pm if you plan on getting to bed early!!!

First of all, I'm a 15 handicap..
About a week ago, I golf'd at Mather golf course in Sac Co. A very flat, fair test of golf. I par'd the first 4 holes, something I have never ever done in any round of golf ever! But it was more than that. In those first 4 holes, I didn't hit one GIR (Green In Regulation), meaning I got up and down on 4 straight holes. After 4 holes, I was Even, with 4 putts.. Something I've never done in the past, and will probably never do in the future.
The 5th hole is the #1 handicap (420 yard par 4, dog leg left), and I bogey'd.. Respectable. After 7 holes, I was 1 over. I've never golf'd like this in my life!! I'm thinking I'm finally going to break 80!
Bogey'd the 8th, doubled the par 5 ninth, shot 40 on the front..
Then the back started out well.. par'd 10 and 11. Then it all went to crap.... Triple'd the 12th and 14th.. Three putted the 15th.. Came home with an 87... Right on my handicap... Golf is funny.. It is a lot like life... No matter how good or bad you do, you are running about average....

I can say all of those things...
They just sound a bit funny..

Liberty Ale (Anchor Steam San Francisco)... Outstanding!
Milagro Silver Tequila shots.

Brian: "Hey Barkeep, who's leg do you have to hump to get a dry martini around here..."
-
It was total garbage. What a waste of 91 minutes... I could have been washing my car or something...
Just for the Record.. I loved the Sixth Sense and Signs, so I tend to give M. Night some slack, but his last two have really blown...

Peter appearing on Wheel of Fortune:
"Ok Peter, 5 Consonants and 1 vowel..."
Peter: Z, 4, Q, another Q, a third Q, and the Batman Symbol...
-
Young Frankenstein
The Princess Bride
Murder by Death
Those are my top 3, but I love many others...
History of the World Part 1
Airplane!
This is Spinal Tap
Stripes
Blazing Saddles
Spaceballs
Beavis and Butthead DO America
Stewie Griffin the Untold story
Young Doctors in Love
Office Space
As good as it gets
Holy Grail
Meaning of Life
Amongst many others I'm sure....

Lady in the Water - 5/10. I had to see this before seeing the new M. Night movie. Strange, but sort of entertaining.
The Happening- 2/10. Saw this on opening night. It is just bad. M. Night's worst yet. He is going down hill fast. People were actually laughing in the theater at some of the ridiculous lines and acting. Not sure what he was trying to do here.
PI - Faith in Chaos - 8/10. Had this one on the shelf for years, finally watched it last night for the first time. Strange movie, but people with Math degrees (like me) should love this movie. Filmed in glorious black & white which added to the erieness of the whole thing.
Indy Jones & the Crystal Skull - 7/10. Fun and entertaining. I like anything with an "X-files" twist to it.. And it was better than Temple of Doom...

Family Guy.
Best show on TV. Period.

Peter, dressed as Daisy Duke, bends over to retrieve a basketball..
Brian and Stewie scream "ehhhhhhh"
Brian says: "That looks like a Walrus flossing..."
-
"Did I leave the stove on????"
"No, I'm a fuking squirrel"
-
Beer/Tequila
Not necessarily in that order.

QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ May 17 2008, 11:50 AM) My prospective titles seem awful in comparison to these.
One of my suggestions would be watching all three LOTR special editions in one go. Anyone else up for that?
I've done it once... That was a long day...

Sweet... I own every episode!! This will be so cool..

Holy crap, Larry must have dyed his hair black and he looks just like a young Steve Hogarth ..

Peter: Hey Quagmire, so this is your new Winnebago..
Quagmire: You mean "Wanna-bang-go".. I'm going to nail chicks in every state in this thing.. Gigity-gigity
-
Peter (in bed, arms behind his head): Ah Lois, that was fantastic. By the way, where'd you get that tattoo on your lower back?
Lois: Ah, I don't know... Meth is a hell of a drug...
-
Lois: Peter, did you know that they dropped sex ed at Chris' school???
Peter: That's alright Lois, let him figure it out the way I did... With a can of Crisco and a shot glass...
