  1. I would be shocked if the set list deviated from what has been posted on RIAB. If they did a dry run-through on Sunday night, that's what they'll be playing tonight.

As for the list being a little light, also would not surprise me. They are not getting any younger and 3 hour shows would wear down the best of us.

  2. There is still plenty of Sierra Nevada 2009 Harvest Wet Hop Ale selling in my area, and I picked up 4 more 24oz bottles tonight. I can't believe it's still available. This is supposed to be a fall seasonal brew and I've been buying it for about 8 months now. It's one of my all time favorites.

  3. What a great day of hockey!

Watched the Pens come from 3 down to win it in OT

Watched the Hawks come from the dead, score with 13 seconds left, SHORT HANDED (yeah, they pulled the goalie, but they were short handed!!!), then survived the rest of the 5 min major in OT and scored again right as the penalty ended, to win it in OT.. What a game..

Then to top it off, the Sharks get two quick goals in the 3rd to make it 3-2, and go on to win and take the series..

Awesome games today. Nothing like the NHL playoffs.

  4. He was jealous when Liz Taylor announced she's getting married for the 9th time. He said that bitch is breaking my record. Heck, they are the same age, they should just marry each other and put an end to the madness.

Heard reports this morning that Larry was bangin' her sister, and that she was bangin' the son's little league coach. Lovely.

  5. "A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-lagunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice."

  6. The 2010 Masters:

More evidence why I've always loved Phil and always hated Tiger.

When Phil walked off 18 and hugged Amy and the kids with tears streaming down his face, all I could think of was the stark contrast between him and Tiger. Phil the great family man, versus Tiger the arrogant, whiny, man whore, who could care less about his wife or family. All he cared about is whether he won or not. What a prick.

That would be too easy! wink.gif

Enjoyed my first SN Estate Brewers Harvest Ale tonight (their own hops and barley). I think I like the wet hopped Harvest Ale better...

  8. Hey looky me, first login in 7 months.. And where do you find me? A Sierra Nevada thread.. smile.gif

I visited the Brewery a few weeks ago and was able to sample the new 30th Anniversary Stout on Tap! Also bought a bottle but have not opened it yet. Snow is right, it's a beautiful bottle. I might never open it. I also tried a 10oz glass of their "Hoptimum" (10% Double IPA) and that might be the best ale I've ever had.

  9. I was a little disappointed in the Sierra Nevada Topedo IPA. Very drinkable, but not up to SN standards IMO. It's become a regular bottled deal now, so maybe with more mass production the quality is suffering.

Now the SN Harvest Wet Hop Ale.. That is some of the sweetest Ale ever sipped (I mean chugged).. And the Southern "Hemispheres" version is not bad either. My local "Total Wine" store goes thought that stuff like crazy, at $3.99 per 24oz bottle.
