  1. Hey Bardan, I picked up one of those Jim Beam Black flasks also... And the best price ever.. $12.99 including the flask!!! Awesome.!! Normally, on sale it's $15.00 at its lowest...

    Gotta love Long's Drugs booze...

And that Woodford Reserve is probably the best bourbon I've tried, but it's a little out of my normal price rance... sad.gif

oooh! how is the Jim Beam Black? i've been anxious to try it. trink38.gif

well, it tastes like Jim Beam, but since it is aged twice as long, it's a bit smoooooother.

It's also slightly higher in alcohol content.. at 86 proof. I really like it.

I just had some more of it tonight, along with a celebration ale and a Stone IPA....

hey! have you tried Knob Creek?

i had some in Nashville on a whim. oh so tasty! later i found out it's a Beam thing. trink38.gif

Yes, Knob Creek is a favorite of mine also, and yes.. it's made by Jim Beam, aged 9 years... (Jim Beam Black is aged 8 years). They are very similar but Knob Creek is 100 proof so it packs a kick in the ass.

I'm from Sac, Roseville to be exact...

My favorite Safeway manager back in the day when I worked there finally retired and moved up to Roseville. Booming place.

I have some good friends in Lincoln as well.

    RUSH ON!!

See you in Marysville for a RUSH SHOW!!!

    Earl

Yep, very familiar with Lincoln as well. I used to live there also. Lincoln is currently the fastest growing city in the USA... (according to some statistic I read)

I love the Marysville Amp.. It's much better than Echo Arena. Great place to go. I love it that it's out in a cow pasture, 20 miles from anything..

I have a couple of 2005s stored in my basement. They should be in nice shape by now. It'll be interesting to compare an aged bottle to a fresh one. trink38.gif

I have (2) bottles of 2004 celebration ale in the garage. That case of 2005 that I was saving somehow got all drunk...

  7. I had my first one tonight... and it tasted incredibly awesome. I'm a very happy man... The label is slightly different this year, it had "red" trim all the way around the label. Very nice looking and very holiday-ish.

  8. I watched the first one and loved it. Then I watched the first one again, and only mildly enjoyed it... I have #2 sitting here and it's waiting to be watched, but I'm afraid it will be a waste of 2 hours. We will see.
