My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo..
I'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo..
Big Bottom. Big Bottom.. Talk about mud flaps, my girl's got 'em...

QUOTE (Digital Man @ Nov 15 2006, 07:12 PM) After 3 months I finally tracked down some good beers...
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v620/skopetski/Junk/TheBeerSnob.jpg
I got a case of the Celebration Ale & 2 bottles of the Arrogant Bastard. I haven't ever tried the others but have heard they are good so decided to try them.
The stuff is expensive here...$82 plus $26 in import fees...but I have my beers. Maybe CA prices were just low? $10.99 for the celebration a 6-pack & $5+ for the other bottles.
that picture almost brought me to tears..

Thanks for the tip Moonie!!!
I picked up a case of Celebration Ale tonight at Costco for 22.99... $25.81 out the door with confiscatory CRV and Taxes...
Geez DM, sorry about the prices in MI.. I thought CA was expensive!!

Yeah, get rid of the "blue" in there and that's an impressive Refer!

I hear ya.. I only tried the Stone Ruination IPA once.. I bought a 22 oz bottle, and althougth it was very good, it was also Very Very strong!!!! I had trouble finishing the whole thing.. I had a Double IPA at Sacramento Brewing Co. one time and I didn't care for it at all.. It was so hoppy that you really couldn't even taste it... I agree with you, I'll stick with the regular IPAs for now.
-
Holy chit, that's like... really funny!!

The best IPA I've tried is Stone IPA. The hoppiest is the Stone Ruination IPA. Stone also has a 10th year anniversary IPA at 10% ABV.. I haven't tried it, but I should.
With that said, I'm relatively new to IPA's. I've only been sampling them for about a year now. I really like Sierra Nevada IPA, but it's probably not the best out there. The Celebration Ale is my favorite ale out there, it's very hoppy and tasted like an IPA, although not officially called an IPA...
White Hawk Ale (IPA) is also very good, from Mendicino Brewing Co.
I still have many IPAs to try.. The Dogfish Head sounds like a winner, but I've yet to see it in my area.

QUOTE (Moonraker @ Nov 13 2006, 09:21 PM) The Costco I work at carries a case of 24 for 21.99. I should pick up a case... Holy crap, I'll be heading to Costco soon.!!! That's the best price ever!!!! I've been paying $15.00 for 12 packs..
