    Too numerous to mention.

    Wait whaaaaaa??

    :D

    Take yer pick!

I stopped an old man along the way

Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies [it's true - all old men possess forgotten words and ancient melodies]

He turned to me as if to say, "Hurry boy, it's waiting there for you" [i would love to see this verse acted out]

It's gonna take a lot to take me away from you

There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do [100 men...or more! ]

I bless the rains down in Africa [what does this even mean? :eh: ]

Gonna take some time to do the things we never had ["do the things we never had"? A horrible euphemism maybe?]

The wild dogs cry out in the night

As they grow restless, longing for some solitary company [i dunno about you, but I like my company solitary.]

I know that I must do what's right

As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti [whoa Nelly! lotsa syllables! And is that a double-simile in there? :O ]

Thanks man, I f***ing love that song.

    A really, really bad read

And, lol, I'm done. Y'all enjoy dissing a bunch of great lyrics because they seem pretentious to you, meanwhile forgetting about the utter dreck in the world that's actually popular. Where's that Justin Bieber meme...?

    I gotcha on that.

NO one on earth has a more punchable face than fuckng Bieber

    Damn

Is that 10,000 RSL or Flat Chat? Flat Chat goes throughout their career (for the most part) and is a better representation of the band. One of their best concerts (Goat Island) was also filmed in 1984 or 5 and you can easily find it on Youtube.

    RSL

  10. Thanks to everyone who helped compile the list of great Side A album openers. I'm excited to see how it all shakes out.

The list of 90 tracks is compiled alphabetically, which ended up avoiding most conflicts (some bands, like Zeppelin, have four songs). For each group of 30 songs, you can choose up to seven to advance. You don't have to choose seven.

    Have at it!

    Goose, where's Synchronicity 1?!

    Oh snap!!

  11. Awesome!!

    Nice job Goose!!!

    My votes are in!

Your nominations. You still need to cast your votes for who should move on!

    Vote is in!!

Damn! Looks like I'm a human target on one of the most liberal and nerd filled, uptight human forum I've ever been a part of for over a decade of wasted years. Iron Maiden? Nah, idiot me. I love the Rush Forum Women. Well most.

Looks like I was destined to "FREEFALL" on here. Cool. I will never change because of a few asshole bullies on here. Bring it on.

Seriously, through all the smoke and mirrors "Freefall" on the "Mirage" album by Camel should have made it.

Get it? "Smoke." "Mirage" art work looks like a pack of Camel smokes.

You idiots who despise me are no fun.

Take a long hike off a short pier and leave me the fuckk alone. Please find your IGNORE button and give me "PEACE OF MIND!" I mean really? You brainwashed one track Rush Fruits have no clue about music.

"Peace Of Mind" is the second song on Boston's debut masterpiece. Yet "More Than A Feeling" is the opening track on side A. Yet it's not in this poll???????

Assholes on here rip me for hijacking. I was just adding some spice and intellect to the musical landscape. Even I forgot "More Than A Feeling" last night.

All of you Rushhead Haters do yourselves a favor, and I have every right to defend myself of a dying rock forum.

    PISS OFF YA WANKERS!

Do us all a favor and IGNORE ME!

    Digital Dad! YOU ARE FUTILE!

Dude I dont know why you are targeting me. I have never EEEEVER said a cross word in your direction.

Aside from Ghost. They still suck. ;)

  13. I have ZERO interest in a release without Buckingham if that's what they indeed do. call me cllose minded but nope.

Behind the Mask was ok but i rarely go back to it. and Time....hmmmm no. Actually the only way i would have continued to follow them is if Bob Welch had come back. but alas that can never happen. and never would have anyway. RIP Bob

    Mick

Behind The Mask and Time are as great as Heroes Are Hard To Find and Bare Trees. In my opinion, Time is the best of all four.

    ok........your wrong but ok.

    lol.

    Mick

Mystery to Me is better than all of the above.

    i love that album too.

i love the whole Welch era.

    Mick

I went to Sears with my dad when I was a kid and we bought two tapes

Steve Martin - Wild and Crazy Guy

    Bob Welch - French Kiss

    Nice! Ebony Eyes :notworthy:

And that Bob Welch album cover...yowza!

I had Let's Get Small, Wild and Crazy and Comedy Is Not Pretty. Still have the Cruel Shoes book.

Have you ever read Pure Drivel? I have it on audio book. Totally worth it.
