Different music news outlets are 'clickbaiting' Alex's comments with the assumption that a collaboration with Geddy is set in motion to happen immediately, when it's not the case.
Exactly. Luckily those guys don't give in to outside pressure and only will do it if THEY feel comfortable with it. Until that happens. It's all clickbait and wishful thinking.
Sadly, thats the case. Them wanting to work and something concrete actually happening is just exactly that. Wishful thinking. I mean I really do hope we will hear something from them in the future, but Im not exactly putting money away in hopes there is a huge tour in the future.

Here's the full interview:
Ok, just watched the WHOLE interview! Phew! It's amazing actually! Some really amazing take aways for me personally:
- He's younger than I thought so he still has A LOT of life left in him
Wikipedia not a thing for you?
Wow...
Slow day huh?
Well, how can you be a fan and not know their ages?
Its comforting to know that you are still a huge prat.

Hi all. Been ages since I popped in here but I just wanted to give you all a shout. Yes Im still in complete shock and denial. Pretty much listening to all my Rush lately, made three different playlists for work listening, watched Lighted Stage and the Moose Lodge dinner video several times as well as every bit of footage on utube whether or not I have seen it a million times already or not. Read all the articles all the tributes. Thought about meeting Geddy last year etc.
Still cant believe the m*********** is gone.
Freeze this moment a little bit longer
Make each sensation a little bit stronger
f**k.

Why do some RUSH fans Hate "Roll The Bones"?
Because it's not heavy metal enough with no crushing riffs nor screaming 2112 vocals. The drums are plastic-sounding with no power and no sharpness the songs are wishy washy and too commercial and the lyrics are dopey talking about the cold war like anything had really changed going from the Soviet Union to Russia and here we are today the Russian leader is a former KGB Colonel.
He is also the current POTUSA

I had a dream I met Neil once at a concert.
What did he say?
He said he wished he knew the name of the girl is in Treeducks signature and avatar.

I own original Farewell to King Lerxst Underoos from 1977.

Sucked. There was no flow. He should have just dropped the line, not dropped the name Rush in doing so.

I dig High Water's simplicity.I don't really get the hate for High Water. It's basically just the sequel to Mystic Rhythms, and that's a pretty well-enjoyed song by the fanbase. I actually even feel like there's a moment in the fade-out of Mystic Rhythms where Neil starts playing the beat to High Water, though maybe I'm imagining it.
High Water also has a... cinematic... quality to me, musically. The composition is built for dramatic effect, for better or worse.
It leads nicely into Show...from Presto. I really dont understand why people dont like it. Its better that 7/10ths of Roll the Bones.

Family - Bandstand
The second to last album, very strong. John Wetton plays bass on the whole thing. Roger Chapmans vocal is a bit of an acquired taste, but he still manages to come across very strong, reminiscent of Joe Cocker mixed with early Peter Gabriel.
Most of the stuff before this album is a bit more soulful and folky, but the blues influence is starting to come out stronger, and after the next album Chapman and co-leader Charlie Whitney would break Family up and form the more blues based Streetwalkers.

I just checked out Roger Daltreys book, "Thank You Mr. Kibblewhite". It's a page turner.
Also my partner checked out Michael Chabon's book "Pops" a collection of stories on fatherhood. Theres a chapter called "Be Cool or Be Cast Out"

Max Webster. I only know Battle Scar, the song they did with Rush.
I still have not heard this nor have I ever heard a note of any Max Webster. Ive heard a few Kim Mitchell solo cuts.
Max Webster are one of my favourite bands but I think they probably aren’t to everyone’s taste as they can be both off- the-wall and “poppy”. Listen to Universal Juveniles or A Million Vacations, if they don’t grab you the older ones definitely will not.
Thanks Tony. Off the wall and poppy. two of my favorite elements. Giving Universal a shot.
Not much to add to Toni's suggestions, but I would start with High Class In Borrowed Shoes. Their best album for me.
Listened to Juveniles twice. I like it. Less proggy that I thought it would be but I will surely investigate further.

If anyone else haven't thought of this, go back, and read what I've said in some of the other posts. I've explained about it including "Edits" can be made, too. No one else was doing it, went, and did go out of sync. I didn't, and don't see anyone else trying to do it. "Moving Pictures", was done, and completed in the way, and order it should be before.
Wut?
