I like arguing with Randroids, it's like shooting fish in a barrel!

"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers

Good story!

Apparently Alex is under the tutelage of Bill Bailey, and says he will reveal "something special" during the tour.
Here's the only video of Bill Bailey I could find on youtube:

Hope they bring out those quad-neck guitars!

I'm pretty sure Neil wrote the Cold Fire lyrics after watching an episode of Oprah... "TRADITIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: REALITY OR FANTASY?"
-
Cold Fire lyrics are so very clunky.

I totally know what he's saying here, I sucked at sports too when I was a kid:
When your boyhood fate was to be pathetic at sports, you had no hope of being the one to catch the winning pass, hit the grand slam, or (best of all for a Canadian boy) score the overtime goal.

He's looking respectable these days!

Neil's a great admirer of Herzog. Rumor has it that the next album will be called "Cygnus X-1 Book III - Cobra Verde."

ACK... THBBFT...
Since we're destroying Tom Sawyer, here's one:

Don't worry about it... Alex just needed to go for a pee break, that's all!

Some of you have no idea what happens to you when you get older, but you will find out one day.
Answer: you keep on rockin! (See picture for evidence!)

Face Up:
You get all squeezed up inside
Like the days were carved in stone
You get all wired up inside
And it's bad to be alone
You can go out, you can take a ride
And when you get out on your own
You get all smoothed out inside
And it's good to be alone

- 2013 - With Rush, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee
These are just a few of his awards and acknowledgements...
I do agree he is an grossly under-rated guitar player....not sure why?
The industry has thrown him a few bones over the years...but he deserves so much more mainstream attention and rating by the industry and even his peers.
I think the biggest fact that Alex is not as highly rated overall , is that Alex's band is still basically an unknown ( in the mass music industry), weird, prog cult band.
Also made the Rolling Stone 100 Greatest Guitarists list (just barely though):

All that being said... concerts do bring in wheelbarrows full of cash... so for that reason I think that a second leg is a true possibility, plus more concerts in the future.
