  1. Any recommendations for albums with a stretch (or block) of good songs?

Just listened to CA, the following segment is pretty good.

    • Clockwork Angels
    • The Anarchist
    • Carnies
    • Halo Effect
    • Seven Cities of Gold
    • The Wreckers
    • Headlong Flight

Would be slightly better if Halo Effect and The Wreckers weren't there, but still it's good.

  2. Also, would anyone care to enlighten me on what "Sound Check" does?

Apparently it scans all your songs, and makes it so all the volume levels are the same. So if you have a really quiet song, it will crank up the volume on that one. (Personally I've never used it though.)

  3. Which EQ setting on your iPhone (see image) gives the best sound for Rush?

I find that R & B works well, it has a good combination of loudness and clarity. However it's a little too sharp sometimes.

  4. Under the video it says: "Music "2112 Overture / The Temples Of Syrinx".

Did you fill that in when you uploaded it? If not, then "the system" scanned the upload and determined that it has copyright stuff in it.

Bootlegs are a real grey area on youtube.

  5. You are younger than 45 I would guess....

    Yes...

Let me guess... twelve? :laughing guy:

Mentally 14 as I've stated before.

My condolences. Have you discussed treatment options with a doctor? Perhaps a lobotomy is in order.

  6. I agree with Narpski.

Vapor Trails Remixed is very harsh sounding...I hear that "buzz" he was referring to.

What does that buzz sound like, I don't think I've ever heard it. However I usually listen to Rush while driving, which hides a lot due to road noise etc.

  7. Here's a book review of the CA novel: http://www.sfsignal.com/archives/2012/08/review-clockwork-angels-by-kevin-j-anderson-based-on-a-story-and-lyrics-by-neil-peart/

"BRIEF SYNOPSIS: Owen Hardy grows up in a world controlled by the Watchmaker, where “the Universe has a plan, All is for the best.” His yearning for something more takes him out of the order of his small town, and thrusts him into the battle between order (the Watchmaker) and chaos (the Anarchist) leading him to explore places and worlds he did not realize existed.
