  3. I'm really turned onto Journey again in recent days. Even some post perry stuff is great. Granted the guy they have now is a perry clone but one album they did......Revelations is as good as anything with Perry.

And these bands are life as well

    Work of Art

    Eclipse

    Mick

I own six Journey albums. Not the Eclipse through to the Radio one. Enjoy them all.

I want to get the two Lou Gramm solo albums soon.

If you havent listened to them, I do recommend them, some great songs on them.

  4. An amazing end to their career with this album, I will say some songs I don't really like (Seven Cities of Gold, Wish them Well for example)

But there are so many amazing songs also (BU2B, The Wreckers, The Garden etc.)

  5. I've said this many times before. but this album taught me patience in my listening. yes it sounds on the surface like a mess. but i can hear rhythms and hooks in these songs. they are there. and while i don't consider this the Captain's best. it did teach me music does not have to fit into this nice little pretty box. and yes.......i can play this purely for pleasure, lol.

it is a fav with me.

    Mick

Perfectly explained, and my favorite of his is Safe as Milk

  6. I heard this album today and I really don't know whether I like it or not. I have mixed feelings about that album.

That usually happens, give it a few more listens and you will decide if you love it or hate it.

For me I hated it on my first listen, but on my second listen I liked it a little more and by the time i listened it 3 times I loved it.

  7. I know a lot of people say that his music is horrible and they dislikes him a lot.

I think he is a genius, so ahead of his time with a lot of things.

I can get why his music is not everyone's cup of tea, but I doubt that people have anything against his personality.

He was very cool, interesting, positive, creative, intelligent and witty guy.

I would say for some of his political views people had a problem with him.

But yes I agree with what you say
