2001 was a rough year for me (music wise as I was only 2 age wise)
The only 2 albums I can think of that I really like is.
System of a Down - Toxicity (which I love so much)
The Microphones - The Glow Pt. 2
Some Live albums also:
Magma - Theusz Hamtaahk Trilogie
Queensrÿche - Operation:LIVEcrime

A masterpiece, every song.
Planet Caravan is one of the trippiest songs ever (and underrated)
An album I never get tired of.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven
What a discovery that album was for me. I enjoyed this album so much and basically got me into post rock
I've heard of this band! Are they anything like Isis?
I would not say so, Godspeed is an ambient band. They have no vocals to them.
But I am glad you brought them up, it has been so long since I listened to Isis, I might give them a listen again.

To start it off I will begin with Jethro Tull - Wond'ring Aloud
Nice choice.
Here are a couple of decades different versions:
I feel like I like the songs more live than in studio, just a beautiful song

Wow what a documentary that was. So much I didnt know.
Them talking about Terry's death is so sad to see, they are still heartbroken. So emotional.
It was amazing to watch and makes me want to listen to some Chicago now

I haven't listened to their new album yet, I don't know what to expect since I have not listened to much of AIC's later stuff.
Let's hope for the best

I still have to listen to it. I will say that I'm glad the album is only 10 songs and less than an hour. The last album had some really good stuff on it but it dragged on too long in some places. Happy to see they scaled things back a bit this time. Hopefully that means better results.
a lot of bands could benefit from scaling back album length. it's always been a peeve of mine no matter who the artist. maybe it's my attention span but if you're gonna go an hour or more with an album (i'm talking singles not double albums) you be sure the material is A game.
Truth is for me most can't pull it off. i know cause most albums in my library over an hour have edited versions i made, lol.
Mick
Totally agree, it definitely makes it so the artists have to choose the best songs to put on the album. I hate albums that are really long and also have a lot of filler songs. Only exception for very long albums for me is usually live albums.

Are there huge MJ fans who happen to think Thriller isn't a good song?
