QUOTE (TheRocinanteKid @ Feb 4 2008, 09:38 AM) QUOTE (Ru5h F@n @ Feb 3 2008, 11:12 PM) I watched Cape Fear last night on dvd. Apparently it's a 2 disc set. Never knew that till I bought it.
"You will learn about loss!" - Max Cady (Robert De Niro)The De Niro version of that movie kicks arse! Now I'm wondering why my version doesn't have two discs... What's on the second disc?
I assume bonus features probably.

Do you like the bonus/special features that come with a dvd or are you interested more in just the movie itself? For me, it doesn't matter either way really but they give you a lot of interesting information about it though.

This section is an area I created where we can talk about the movies that we watch on a daily basis. You are allowed to go into as much detail about the movie that you want. No limits here from favorite scenes to quotes to plot, etc. I know I try to watch at least 1 a night. It makes my night more complete knowing I had a little entertainment for the evening.
-
The one I could watch over again? Hmmmm. I guess Cape Fear, the 1991 version. I loved the way Robert De Niro was a psychopath. He played it so well.

QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Feb 2 2008, 05:00 AM) QUOTE (Ru5h F@n @ Feb 2 2008, 02:02 AM) I'm catching up to you Jack. You mean you're trying.
Yeah but I'm not competing with you though. I'm just trying to get my whole collection. I still have quite a few to get. Hopefully I will finish it soon.
-
The Oscars will happen whether the writers strike is on or not. That's a given here.
-
Well I'm not so sure this is completely over yet but it sure is a hell of beginning though.

This I think was the funniest thing Jim said in the movie:
Jim Carrey: "Your Honor, would the court be willing to grant me a short bathroom break ?"
Judge: "Can't it wait ?"
Jim Carrey: "Yes, it can."
Jim Carrey: "But l've heard that if you hold it,
it can damage the prostate gland,
making it very difficult to get an
erection !"
Judge: "ls that true ?"
Jim Carrey: "lt has to be."
Judge: "Well, in that case, l better take a little break myself."

I think mine if I remember correctly was The Poseidon Adventure back in 1971. I went to see that movie in the theater 3 times with my mom.

This movie was awesome. Peter Weller did a fantastic role in the first two movies and Nancy Allen was great as his partner. Kurtwood Smith played a superb villian as well in the first movie.

I had 2 manual turntables (Technics SL-1900MK2) and about 300 records. Man that brings back a lot of memories for me. My first record I bought was "Golden Earring-Moontan". Cranked that baby up real high. Party time!
