  2. I would have loved to see Ceiling Unlimited or even Ghost Rider, but How It Is wasn't that bad

I think its cool they are playing. It just never really liked it.

GR would have been better. CU they played on the VT tour but it didn't really work live.

I think it worked really well that tour. I have a soundboard of it from that tour and it sounds so good. That's your opinion, and I understand, but these guys can always make it work.

  3. So even though I'm just starting topics left and right, this one is a serious one that I have been trying to find out for years. It's the patch on Alex's Signature Aurora as seen in A Show Of Hands, as well as a Presto tour bootleg called Available Light. It is a boy scout Panther Patrol patch. It has since been discontinued, but I have a few extra ones from my 'Great White' replica I did last year. I have a quote from 2012 from a youtuber named spAnkYnation44, who has since passed away, about the patch:

"The patch was given to me by a man who only identified himself as "Bruce." He told me where to put it on the guitar, and the significance and meaning behind it. There is a deep and emotional story behind that symbol. What he told me about it, I can never tell anyone. It must be taken to my grave. That was years ago, and I have not seen him since. I believe he had ties to Black Ops or the CIA"

This is why I want to find out what it is.

This is what I'm talking about. Grey Patch, White border and panther

  4. I doubt he'd be there just to soundcheck it. It was likely Ben Mink in sample-form.

He did that in Austin, there was a video. He also did that in Bristow, and it's rumored he was in St. Paul as well for soundcheck.

    There WAS a video...of a fence

When there is a song that rare (at the time) being played and the only thing to look at is a fence, who really cares? It was really cool to hear when I first found it

The video of the fence doesn't tell us if Mink was there or if it was a sample.

Very true. I never thought of that

  6. Xanadu and Jacob's Ladder for me. Just wish I had gotten Natural Science as well but can't have it all I suppose... :codger:

Natural Science was okay, but I think I would have rather seen that played during the TFE tour instead. The intensity of that song seemed to be missing when I saw it in Philly.

  7. I said Ceiling Unlimited. I really love the drive on it. I mean some others on this album are the same way, but I don't think stuff like Secret Touch, Earthshine and OLV are underrated, because they were played live a lot. But the first time I heard Ceiling Unlimited was a bootleg, and I was blown away at how amazing it sounded.
