This song and Countdown were the two songs that got me into Rush. Such an epic piece of music! :)

Saw Tool back in January last year. Danny Carey blew my mind with his techniques and rhythm.. I'd say he's the 2nd best drummer.

Great photos everyone! And iBytor, you must have been seated/standing right beside me because that looks exactly like some I took.
Apologies in advance to drgendel but I simply must post 3 shots....to capture the feeling of a front row ticket in Sin City. :pokercards: :sundog:

my favorite band in between 2 of my favorite slot machines.....sweet!
haha no way!!! thats awesome! I was squished between two dudes, but i was directly in front of the speaker and Geddy's mic stand! I was row A seat 2! how about you?
row A seat 7
thats so awesome!!! I do remember seeing a woman with black hair and a woman with blonde hair on the front row! i wasn't looking around too much.. haha. I was probably the youngest one on that whole row, all geeked out with all my rush stuff :P

I've never done a meet and greet before but from what I've heard from people who have is that most of the meet and greet is a long lecture given by the meet and greet manager. Then you get about a minute to shake hands with Rush and take a picture. This whole process takes about an hour. I've also heard that if you have the option to sit front row or do a meet and grett, do the front row seats, it's much more worth it.
I definitely agree with this. I've never been to a meet and greet, but I had front row seats at Vegas, directly in front of Geddy, and I'd say 3 hours of staring at him is way better haha. I was doing what every hardcore rush fan would do im sure, and Alex came over and sorta leaned over and he looked at me and smiled, and I started screaming and he looked back over and winked. Geddy looked at me a lot, but he did one of his sweet bass riffs and he was grooving his head and then looked away, but those moments I believe are a whole lot better to experience.
See, during the actual concert, you can scream and wiggle and fangirl and cry all you want, but at a M&G I'd probably awkwardly just stand there and cry and turn red. So, yes. front row kicks ass

haha ive been saying "pee-can" over and over now. it sounds funny. um, i say 'puh-khan'

im so pissed because they filmed at the concert right after the one i had front seats at!!!!!!!!!! :'(

does anyone know if they're coming to Vegas? I got front row in November, and I was the only one on the front row that knew all the words and every beat and fill. As much as it doesn't sound right, Vegas isn't a fun crowd. So I have no idea if they're coming back around...
My wife and I have seen them in Vegas 3 times. My impression was the same as yours. The crowd at the front were a bunch of comped gamblers and VIPs who didn't seem to be Rush fans (or at least, were no more than casual fans).
Vegas is a city that repopulates itself every few days. A completely different dynamic than other cities.
Having said that, if the go to Vegas this tour, we'll probably be there...
right?? you are so spot on! ugh.. haha that makes me so disappointed. If they did come back to Vegas, I just don't know if it'll be worth going again because one thing I hate is being squished between drunk guys that record the whole show on their tiny flip phones that they wave in your face...
but, I mean, its Rush! of course I'd want to go! I just... dont.... even know.. lol

Seriously?!?!?!? ugh I wish I was there :'(
It would've been so much more amazing with you there!!! I was squished between two old drunk guys that were like "yeah! uh... Tahm.. yeah- Swyarer... catch teh spit" it just wasn't really a fun environment..
