In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida - Iron Butterfly
How young are you guys that this thread is 64 songs in and no one's mentioned this one?
Great song until the drum solo. Take out the three minutes of drumming and it would make my list.

I've heard of them, have their entire works on my ipod. Never dove into their library yet. But whenever they show up on shuffle I go hey, who's this, I like this song.
-
Much beloved. Broke into the league when he was almost 30 and still made it into the Hall of Fame.
33 when he joined the league after 14 years playing in the minors. Then played until he was 45, the same age as Jagr, who is a living legend. Crazy to think about.

Forget this post ever existed
-
You forgot these classics:
QQZ
2QQ2
Qubdivisions
Zygnus X-1
A Zarewell to Kings
Zastille Day
Ha-ha
And also, I don't think there are any RUSH songs that begin with a K...
Kid Gloves.

CONGRATS BLUESCHICKA!
You got me by ONE POINT!
3rd in 2016, 2nd in 2017... I hope to continue the trend in 2018.
Thanks for a great season everyone! Let me know what you liked and didn't like for next year.
I didn't like missing the chase this year.

great version, the drums are off the hook,, neil was on fire,, this mix sounds more different and better than the different stages show..
Warts and all anyway.
How are you guys able to watch this video? It's not available on my end.
-
They released a 40th anniversary edition of RUSH, 2112 and Farewell To Kings. Why no Fly By Night and Caress Of Steel?
-
Is this the same show that was on the Different Stages CD? If so then why are we getting it again?
-
This is terrible. 40 years old, and leaves behind a wife and two children.
He needs put in the Hall of Fame.

Everyone has a vote
4 hours to go
Anyone up for a Gods Of Rock Vocals poll ??
Would certainly be fine with that. Dio and Rob Halford need to be in it though.
and Cornell and Bennington :(
Cornell definitely.
Bennington could be in it but he won't advance at all. Too many better voices to choose from.
In the setting of this forum, he probably won't advance, you're probably right, and I probably wouldn't even vote for him myself as I was never really the hugest Linkin Park fan. But I won't say that he couldn't hold his own against a lot of the greats. Cornell, Dio, Brian Johnson. I'd say Bennington could go toe to toe with all of them.
Now Mercury, or Halford, or Plant is another story...
I'd put Bon Scott in ahead of Brian Johnson.

That was the first time I've ever watched an entire race on tape. Never fast forwarded anything but cautions and commercials. Amazing race.

One of our local DJs left the station in August. Before he left he recorded a tribute to Gord and The Hip. Well worth the 20 minutes.

I am not that familiar with The Tragically Hip, I have only listened to Fully Completely. I liked it very much. I know he meant a lot to a lot of people. RIP.
Excellent record.
RIP!
Did you get to see them on their 2015 Fully Completely tour?

This is amazing.

Solid drive by Busch today, Elliott seemed to choke it away.

I saw this on the 18th with my dad, and ended up in tears at the theatre. And also discovered that I can't eat popcorn while crying. Nearly choked a few times.
f**k CANCER

Why are you listing those of us who aren't in the running? I thought we were eliminated. No need to humiliate us further, eh?
This game is like the real world. 12 cars in the championship, but they still let all 40 hit the track. We've got to compete for the best of the worst.

I'll take MTJ

I went through my collection, and took pictures so that I can keep track of what I have. Heres my paperbacks. https://imgur.com/a/kcfue
And next Tuesday the 26th Sleeping Beauties comes out. Written by Stephen and his son Owen.
Crikey!
I might have a slight problem.

That's a lot of KING books!
I found four more after taking the pictures. And I still have to organize my hardcovers.
Where do you store them all?

I've got a book shelf that has all of my hardcovers and a few soft covers. I've also got shelves built into my closet, on each side, that have lots of books on them.

This may get me banned from TRF, or at least shunned by many fine members of this community, but...I never liked Kiss!
Rod in Toronto? When did this happen?
TRF's top 40 songs over 10 minutes long?
