I'm finally seeing my first concerts since Covid hit. Steel Panther in September, Billy Talent in October and Glorious Sons in November.

I don't follow baseball that closely. Other than the single season record, is he on pace for the all-time record?

I've followed this team since the start of the 00-01 season and had to miss game 7 thanks to some stupid year end scout camp(it was amazing). Been through way too many lows the last 10 years, but now the cup is home.

It's been a while since I've visited this site. And almost 7 was since the Avs have won the cup. I still cry almost every time I think about it.

I saw Clockwork Angels Tour twice, 9 shows into the tour and 5 shows from the end. Same setlist both times, with no Limelight and no Manhattan Project. I would've loved to have seen it, even as a show opener. But Snakes And Arrows tour happened when I was in grade 12 and mom didn't want me to miss any school at the time, so it didn't happen. Damn parents looking out for my life.

I clearly missed something since I've been gone. And I also see that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

What a disappointing day this was. Up at 10 am to watch the race, then stuck around til 3 PM to find out it's gonna be tomorrow. At 1PM when I've got a hockey game at 1:30.

I've been trying to think about what to say since I first heard the news three hours ago, and I've got nothing. They've been a part of my life for since I was 15, so half my life. I feel like a piece of me has died.

This wasn't included on the R40 DVD, and now I'm sold on this show.

They just cancelled tomorrow night's show in Colorado Springs due to Rob Halford being sick with Bronchitis

Read Salem's Lot and possibly The Stand before hitting The Dark Tower. Then Blast through those 8 books. As you read further into his catalogue later on, you'll realize that 90% of his books have some sort of connection to The Dark Tower.
I've got Bag of Bones, Lisey's Storey, Just After Sunset, Skeleton Screw, Nightmares & Dreamscapes left to go. Hopefully be able to get them all finished before The Institute releases in October?

Just picked this album up on Sunday. Has a very old school feel to it. WOW. They definitely won me back after The Astonishing. Now they just need to come back to Vancouver.

I lost faith in Dream Theater after the mess that was The Astonishing. After reading the last few pages here, it looks like I'm going to have to grab this on payday.
Wait, all it took was one bad album for you to lose faith? Maybe you were already soured on them before that, I don't know. I wasn't enthusiastic about this album at first but as bad as the Astonishing was, I never lost faith they could deliver again. This album went well beyond expectations though.
Losing Faith might be a little strong. But I definitely stopped listening to these guys after that album came out.

I'm currently watching Final Destination 2. Watched 6 on Tuesday, and now I'm finally watching the series, then hoping to catch 6 again next week to finish it off.
