  1. I agree with mazyyz, except that it's not over my head. What a bunch of overthinking, overanalytical, egghead crap. I was at Atlanta and loved it all. I saw them in Indianapolis and yes, it was a better, more controlled show. Be a fan. Enjoy what they decided to bring to you. All bands make mistakes. They blew the piano line in The Garden; so what if it wasn't perfect? I hope it happened because they were high. And what the hell kind of sound quality do you expect in an outdoor venue in the low 50s at show time and dropped almost ten degrees before they were done? They had fricking propane heaters on stage. Geddy appreciated people out in the chill. I think they rewarded the Atlanta crowd with Limelight, and how cool was hearing Dreamline with Jupiter right next to the moon just over our shoulders? All of you and your IMOs and POVs? I wish you well.
  2. What a great show. We were in first level off the floor to Alex' right. Geddy's voice was stronger than I remember during Moving Pictures in both 2010 and 2011. Wished they had played Seven Cities of Gold; I see they did in Chicago. I love that they did not play some of the regular fare (Spirit of Radio, Limelight, Free Will, Closer To the Heart), although I did miss them. Sometimes you just gotta let that stuff go. The Pass was great with its related video. And Middletown Dreams! And Territories!
  3. I will never understand wanting to stand through the ENTIRE concert. Don't get me wrong. No one loves to rock in time and sing the rhymes like I do. For Time Machine in Nashville I purposely bought tickets in a side bleacher about at 2:00 from Alex' view. This was because in Atlanta we were on floor level and my wife could see nothing. And I'll be damned if everyone at Nashville stood and we BOTH had to crane and stretch to maintain a view...and I'm 6'1"! I seriously offered a family in front of us $50 to sit down for ten minutes. You'd thought I'd pissed on their crucifix.

Aw heck, maybe it was the beer talking.

  5. A story: My loving daughter in Atlanta called me this morning to say she bought tix for that 1 November show and got FANTASTIC seats, way better than we had for Time Machine in September 2010. I was so happy. She sent me the confirmation email. Our seats are smack dab where we were then. Bless her heart. Still happy to be going.
  6. Great outline, Snaked! A few things I do not understand. Bear with me for this rambling and thanks in advance.

I'm signed up for the rush.com newsletter, which I know works because I've received an e-mail about the tour in general. It says, "Fan club pre-sales will be alerted via the Rush Newsletter". But this apparently doesn't mean notification of every venue's pre-sale will be sent out because I've received nothing about any specific venue's pre-sale.

I'm interested in Indianapolis. I understand pre-sale starts 1 May and regular sales 7 May. If I don't get a newsletter, I guess I depend on rushisaband.com/tour.php for the password. Is it always through livenation? What about what time the pre-sale starts?

And, I went to livenation to look at another venue pre-sale that is open and there were three links: Live Nation Presale, Citi Cardmember Presale, and Venue Presale. The password given on the rushisaband.com/tour.php site is only for the Live Nation Presale, right?

Aaaarrgh! I'm sorry to ask you or someone to sort through these questions but I really want to succeed.
