this texting crap is breeding a generation of seemingly lazy idiots. How hard is it to write a few extra letters

Kid, I love the fact you're a RUSH fan, I love the fact you're on this forum, but I have to warn you, your writing style is going to alienate you from a lot of job prospects in the future.

Hope you had a great time at the RUSH show.

Oh I was feeling so old until you wrote that biggrin.gif ... 'Young people these days, no respect for anything' That's a quote from a Roman writer almost 2000 years ago btw. nothing changes does it.

Newcastle had no blacked out seating areas this time unlike last, which was great to see! I noticed a lot more of a younger crowd in there too which is inspiring.

    Place was chokka!!!! Yay!

Btw - forget the nostalgia lark - rush are here to stay and still producing great music. If you want nostalgia then I'd suggest staying at home with your vinyl and Decca record player rofl3.gif tongue.gif 2.gif

The way some people talk you'd think Rush were boy band chasing $$$... It's not and never has been..Its a group of great musicians who play for the people who love what they do Thasts why we love em' 2.gif

I'm sure they made enough to retire long ago

  3. Maybe they'll consider advertising it next time .. pfft

The attendance is incredible for a group almost never mentioned on mainstream media and never to my knowledge spend much on advertising..

If this attendance was the result after a massive media campaign and saturation air play they should be worried..

I think someones trolling with BS figures.

Why i'm not sure.. maybe just because they know it annoys loyal fans.

so.. moon.gif ..stop spoiling the party

Maiden are still releasing albums, so they are hardly a nostalgia band.

With the quality of all their releases since Signals, Rush ought to concentrate on being a nostalgia band...

Maiden Tickets are waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper than Rush tickets, Maiden are managed by a Yorkshireman too confused13.gif

OMG a yorkshirman ? you say it like it's a bad thing. Do you get a nice tea break at their gigs these days ?

I'm hoping for a tea trolly at the Rush gig and a few hobnobs ..

    one day ... one day

Are you selling the ticket then ? If so how much would you want for it, i have two tickets as well in the front block about 5 rows from the front, but might see if my brother wants to go

Wasn't really my intention to sell it here .. E'bay perhaps if I was biggrin.gif

Contributions always welcome of course trink38.gif

  6. I saw that on the news today it looked awsome and looking at the size of that place I'm glad I got good seats lol biggrin.gif One group I've never seen ...I'd go just to hear the cumfy numb solo..

I read that the issue was actually getting out of O2 before the crush.. I havn't been to the O2 but a full arena of deafened dads all heading my way could be a problem.

Yes,.. the spare seat still has a vacancy for one 2.gif fan

  7. Thanks for the reply Shirley,,( PM sent )

Yes if I have to go by train I will but if there we're others heading that way from this area I thought it worth at least asking smile.gif Getting back sooner than 2:00 is important as I have kids eh.gif ( Like most of the dads army that attends Rush concerts these days biggrin.gif )

Does anyone have an accurate idea of when the gyg finishes ?

  8.

Here's the problem.. last year I bought two good tickets for the O2 ( 25th May ) Sadly the friend i bought the other ticket for can't make it leaving me high and dry without any reliable way of getting to the O2..

So.. is there anyone in the Woking/guildford area who can posibly give me a lift up ( you might not want the ticket if so I don't mind paying the petrol )

The ticket is central block a few rows from the stage smile.gif

beathorse.gif gotta be worth a try ,,you know ...lifelong rush fan .. not going was never an option....
