I adore this album! I only have it on vinyl, but I wish I could listen to it everywhere. My only tiny problem with it is that on my first and second listens, all of the songs sounded identical, only a few stuck out.

I'm kinda new here, and I've been wondering about this for about a month. How do you quote other people? I've tried everything but, nothing seems to get the quote on the page. Please help me!

Usually when I listen to music, if I don't really listen to it, I can't really notice the drumming. Tats' what I like about about Neil before Freddie Gruber: I can really ntice the drums in the music. After I feel like he just blended in.

Hold your fire is by far my least favorite Rush album. All of the songs sound EXACTLY the same. I'm glad that they switched from the synth stuff after that album, mabye they relized that they had gone to far.

Has anyone ever had any really rare finds, without knowing it?
here's one I had very recently!
This evening I walked over to my local record store just to see if they had gotten anymore rush, yes, or pink Floyd. I ended up asking the owner how often they got the wall in. He said they got a lot, but it usually sold in a day or two. My hopes immeideatly soared down. But then he said to me that he had heard a rumor that the local cd store had picked up a copy of the wall on vinyl and was selling it for $10. I ran down the street and luckily was able to pick it up. Later that night I did some research and found out the vinyl that I had just bought was a 1979, first American pressing, promo edition. The serial number is PE2 36183!
Here's the proof

I'll post a picture soon!

I know the word Opinion. I was posting MY opinion. I didn't say "you have to think this." If you have a problem with MY opinion, then say what you think, don't criticize me for doing the same! Actually, I noticed that you said, "a well known fact" about an opinion that you had, so once again, don't criticize me!
MY Opinion is that Rush stayed very good even into the 90's. They might not of sounded the same, but they were still great at what they were doing!

you spend 5 hours at a friends birthday party rolling around on the floor listening to A desert passage and a time machine tour concert and singing along exactly with geddy's voice, no matter how high.
-
I have downloaded all parts, I checked like eight times. It just wasn't a full show.
-
I've been looking around and all of the permanent waves shows that I've donloaded have only been like half the actual show.
Does anyone know of a COMPLETE, GOOD QUALITY show from the permanent waves tour.
If so, where can I find it COMPLETE?

I've been on a lot of forums lately and I've seen a lot of people saying that Signals was such a big let down after Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures . I just got signals on vinyl and have been listening to it all the time. Its really really good! It might not be as good as the preceding albums but it is way above being a let down!
-
I was wondering about this to. I have a desert passage, but also want to hear some more permanent waves, and moving pictures to.

People are going to yell at me for saying this..... but, you should just get Chronicles, and then collect the albums as you see them around in stores and you have a few extra bucks.
-
Luckily I got mine for 3 dollars. 3dollars!
Then yesterday, May 14, I went searching on the internet, just to see, and the least expensive one I found was like 70 Dollars.

Bacon Poll
in Rush
I had to go with Jacob's Bacon because Jacob is my name, and that is my Bacon -
The thing I've always loved about rush is how note perfect they always are. When I saw them live, everything was just perfect, it just made me want to sigh in happiness!

I got like a week ago, and I've already listened to it like 80 times!!

I was on the floor right in the middle, and of course, everyone was standing and yelling.
It was a great show and just blew me away, I had no Idea they were still that good!

Thank you so much! I always went into the Reply thing and then pressed on the quote button. But as you can see, I've figured it out (because of you). Thanks again!
