Apparently, he gifted a guitar to Adam Jones as well.

I'm going to see The Warning in August when they come to Toronto. I also them when they came through last year (exactly a year ago today!). Interestingly, the venue they're playing this time is about double the size of the venue they played last year. So, I guess they're getting more popular.

Yes! I discovered them a few months ago and I've been obsessed with them ever since. Can't wait to see them in June.

I didn't see a topic for this but I came across this article. Apparently, one of Alex's new songs was written for Neil.

Where's Tool in the list?
Lateralus is #1 on my list.

For me, it's a toss up between Zeppelin and Def Leppard.

I love Counterparts, but can’t stand Test for Echo. Go figure.
I love Test For Echo and think Counterparts is weak. Go figure.

Jailbreak, Emerald, Boys Are Back in Town, Rosalie, Cowboy Song.
Thank you for posting this video and introducing me to Emerald. This is the first time ever hearing this song and I can't stop listening to it. Brilliant!

And thanks Cat 3.

I’ve read the Hagar book and, no surprise, EVH comes off as a total douchebag.
Hagar's objective, unbiased book? :P
It's got me hooked so far. Sammy's a character. I'm only up to him joining VH and working on 5150.
Ray Danniels doesn't come off sounding too great in Hagar's book either.

And Aimee Mann...
Pretty sure she's American.

I believe "King of The Hill" played The Trees in one episode, iirc. I don't remember the details but, hopefully, someone else here might.

AIC all the way. Although, I never really considered AIC to be "grunge". I always thought they were more "metal".
Nirvana are grossly overrated.

Also, drastically different than Neil's book - the first Toronto show. I watched it on periscope. I knew it was a disaster. Neil states in his book that it was not a good show (Ged quoted as ~"The worst experience on stage of my career") In the movie they portrayed the first night in Toronto as a "Great show". Doesn't really jive - sort of revisionist.
I don't think they were talking about the first show. In the movie, when talking about the "great" Toronto show, they specifically referred to the "Friday" show which was the second show, not the first.
I agree the first show was not great but the second one was.

I just found this thread. It's nice to see there are other Lindsey fans here.
I just saw her perform last night in Toronto and she was awesome. If you haven't seen her live, you should make it a priority. Best show I've been to in years!

Just let it go.
This is the best post I've seen on this forum in over a year.

Here's hoping!
Don't you krazy krauts practice penalties?!?Holy shite, what a roller-coaster game. My lifespan sank at least 2 years. :hail:
Tactics mate. Wait till you see how Müller destroys the French dream...
We all remember what happened the last time Germany played the host country in a semifinal of a major tournament. #7-1

They don't score that goal and they play Croatia instead of England. Good move? Let's debate.Sounds like the Icelandic announcers were pretty happy with the result
Yes, I would rather play England. Croatia was probably the best team in the tournament through the group phase.
Lifeson with Tool

I was there for both shows on Monday and Tuesday. When Maynard said "We would like to invite a special guest to join us onstage. His name rhymes with 'Alex Lifeson'", I lost my sh*t. Adam played the opening riff from Bangkok and then they launched into "Jambi". During the break before the middle jam section, they played more of "Bangkok" before going back into "Jambi". They let Alex have a solo during that part.
It's always a special moment when my 2 favourite bands intersect.
