I laughed nervously and looked into Geddy's deep green eyes. His eyes also locked into mine. I asked him, "would it be okay if my dad took a picture of us together?" He nodded and my dad walked up and shook Geddy's hand, "thank you for doing this." "No problem," Geddy said back to my dad.
I stood next to Geddy and placed a hand on his right shoulder. Right then, and there, I felt his hair on my arm. I took a deep breath and calmed myself down. Geddy then placed his arm around my waist. I suddenly felt lightheaded. I smiled for the picture and my dad took it.
"Th-th-thank you." I said, studdering. "You're very welcome, now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get ready for the show tonight. Are you going to be there?" He asked me. I nodded, still staring at all of him. He smiled and asked me for my name. "Courtney." "Courtney..." He repeated to himself.
Then, I awoke....

I would've loved that dream to be true...
Geddy saying my name.... I seriously wish I had the means to develop a Dream Recorder for dreams like this. Ones you can sit and watch over, and over....and over again to your hearts content. There are many dreams I've had about them that I wish I could relive (so-to-speak), or even just watch again so that I can properly analyze them and see if there were parts I missed or couldn't remember!!

I would totally own one of those "Dream Recorders". Then again, some I may not want to really have around. I'd probably burn those ones.

There's definitely dreams that I don't want to remember, those involving drowning mostly, and any dream where I get separated from my son. But there are many dreams I have that I absolutely need to have analyzed...there's so much going on in my subconscious, and I have a deep need to understand what's going on!
Yeah, hearing him say your name in Dreamland is really wonderful - but nothing could compare to hearing it in real life. I envy my Rushian Sisters who have been lucky enough to meet him and even get hugged by him (*cough* Jamie and Petie *cough*)...I hope someday to get to meet him (and Al too

honestly (prepares to duck) Moving Pictures is one of my lesser favorite albums (keep in mind that I still love it - I love ALL Rush, no lie). I try not to listen to Tom Sawyer, because it's the only song you really ever hear played on Radio here in New Hampshire.

Then the dream ended. Strange, no? Geddy shows up in my dreams pretty regularly, sometimes as himself, other times as some random dude. I don't always remember my dreams, but the ones I do remember are usually strange ones, or flat-out nightmares.
Interesting. Although, I don't think I'd necessarily want him in handcuffs...I'd want those hands free to do what they will

I started listening in 1994, and it was my sister and brother who got me into them. I've been going to shows religiously, every tour, since Counterparts in 1994, and am pretty bummed that I'll be missing out on seeing them this tour - lack of funds to travel to a show, cause for the first time they won't be coming to the Massachusetts/New Hampshire area.

So I had another Rush related dream last night. I was (apparently) going to the MSG show (sadly not happening in real life), and at the very beginning of the dream, I was there, and Ged was about 10 feet away from me, pointed at me, said "I'm sorry about before" and threw me a t-shirt (which, again, the guy behind me caught, but I grabbed it from him and said Ged was throwing this to me lol), then I was not in the arena, but, for some reason, instead I was where Ged was hanging out before, after and in between sets. He was doing interviews, and the security guys were there (Michael and a couple others, including a Scotsman). I can't remember all the details, cause I woke up and went back to sleep. I do remember being about to kiss Ged, and he turned into a younger Marty Stuart (Marty Stuart Picture) - so I was obviously disappointed by this. I remember that my sister, brother and Dave were all at the show, and I was waiting there because I was nervous about walking out into NYC by myself late at night to go find their car. My van was suddenly there, but I still went up to Michael - who was now blonde, btw lol - and asked if I could hang out with them til my family got there cause I was nervous about walking out by myself. They all let me...then my alarm went off.

And I usually don't have my shirt open when I'm at the hospital. We have to have skin to skin contact to help keep Keira warm.
