I am surprised there is not much talk going on, this is top 3 albums of the year, it keeps growing on me tons.

yeah, the reviews i have read are glowing. i will either pick it up today or tomorrow.

BTBAM appears to be a hard sell on this forum. keep in mind this thread is about 5 years old and only 5 pages long. its not easy music to digest but i dig the energy. 1022.gif

I really don't know why this band isn't more famous in prog circles. I dn't know how they fare in the metal world, but I am really surprised Colors is not a top 100 album on PA, and this one just tops Colors, IMO.

Another piece of music from them I think is sublime but too short and should've been used on this album: mirrors. Just the second half. It fits perfectly on this album, but whatever.

I guess it's the vocals. Everything else is so perfect, I really don't get why it's not more famous on this board or like I said, in the prog world.

I've got a lot of catching up to do on 2012 releases -- been too busy to keep up!

My favorites so far have been Flying Colors' self-titled, Circa Survive's newest, Ben Folds Five's return album, The Gaslight Anthem- Handwritten, John Mayer's Born and Raised (barely left my car CD player for the entire month of June), Metric's Synthetica, the new Rush (obviously), and The Tallest Man on Earth's There's no Leaving Now.

Circa Survive's is awesome! Just saw them last week.

If I had Facebook, I would like it. I watched the videos, good stuff.

Thanks! I hear you though, I really disdain Facebook and didn't wanna use it, but succumbed because it seems it's the only way to get a fanbase these days.

  5. Well there are two short vids of my band up there, and if you want other stuff I'll gladly e-mail it. We're playing mores shows and recording and are really starting to pick up some local fans. We started the Facebook page a while ago but just recently got around to using it, so check it out, and you'll hear a lot more from us soon.

    It's just instrumental/experimental/ prog music.

Nothing too crazy, but you might hear something you like, and if not stick with us because we will be offering a lot more!

    Nice work!

Thanks, please keep in touch. We'll be up on Spotify, Soundcloud, and similar websites soon enough, with much better recordings from the studio. Our EP should be out soon.

  7. I can't post links due to iPad being incompatible with YouTube tongue.gif

But I asked a friend if he could post them up soon, and if not soon then later. If you're super desperate to hear my music, search 64maa on YouTube and look for videos uploaded by that user. There are only 3, and two of them are from our gig this past Saturday.

    We are:

    Raziel Seca-Guitars

Marcus Fernandez-Drums (winner of prelims at GC drum off so far, let's see how far he goes.)

Juan Carlos Nava-Bass (that would be me, Good, bad, and rush.)
