  1. Hint: the next song was released after 1990.
  2. Hint: the next song is from either Signals or Grace Under Pressure.
  3. I'm announcing the first and only revision to this list: "Middletown Dreams" is switching places with "Manhattan Project". My writeup for MD speaks for itself. Honestly, I'd probably put MD in the top 30 if I was doing this all over again. Overall, that's my only major mistake from the perspective of my own opinion; everything else is still within 5-6 places of where I'd put it otherwise. Again, I promised to myself that I'd only make one renig for the entire list. And looking at the remainder of the list, and after listening to each of these songs so many times, I'm confident in the rest of this thing. Very confident.
  4. Hey folks. Should I be happy or sad that not many are commenting on the recent 10 or so? I'll have more soon.

For instance, I definitely would rather listen to most of Power Windows before most of Vapor Trails, and my list reflects that. Correct correction: I find GBR's details behind his ranking more coherent than yours most of the time... K.

  7. The main reason I enjoy the synth era is not really because I dabble in keyboards; I just really enjoy the overall sound of the band during the mid 80s. The prog era is pretty well represented in my top 20, though.
  8. I'll have more coming tomorrow, most likely. 50 more to go! 40-50 doesn't really have any shockers in it.
  9. Honestly, I have no problem with 2112's length, even with the guitar tuning in part 3. Plus, I tend to give overlong songs a higher pass if I really like what's going on. Take Armor and Sword for instance. It's about two minutes too long, but I don't mind all that much. The Camera Eye is a great song, but I enjoy/play 50+ other Rush songs more often. It doesn't surprise me that it's a favorite among many/most fans
  10. 106 down, 50 to go! Stay tuned for my top 50!
