It's too fast for my blood.

If this were on a track, ok, I see it, it could be fun....

but I don't know how many times I've dodged a deer, an idiot in my lane, a piece of tire in the road, One time I couldn't avoid A LADDER that was laying in the road, and many, many times, a tractor with hay prongs puttering along at 12 miles an hour.

(you do that in my neck of the woods, you're liable to hit MY tractor.)

On a public road like that, no way....controlled conditions, I can see trying it.

But not there.

That's all I meant.

We've all heard that You ain't living unless you're living on the edge saying....but you also ain't living in intensive care for six months and in a wheelchair the rest of your life, either.

I know too many people who've been badly hurt living on the edge, and I'm just a little creeped out by the thought of it.

Besides, nobody likes me enough to take care of me for the rest of my life, and my crappy luck, it wouldn't kill me. laugh.gif

That's all. It ain't for me.

I think they are in Europe and those are kph's

So 290 kph = 180 mph

and 230 = 142

Still fast enough to get the adrenaline going!

smile.gif

1022.gif For sure!!

Not something I would do on the open road, but on a track, hell yah!!!!

I dream about it at night... wub.gif

It's a wonder this guy is not bug guts on somebody's windshield. He's practically riding the centerline when that truck came around the curve.

It didn't look like America, where was this video taken?

Oooooo.

Sportbike + Twisties = HAYel YYeeeeah!!

I hate to say this, but "back in the day" I had absolutley Zero fear on my motorcycles.Used to blast down twisty country roads with gritted teeth, feeling that rush from pushing it to the limit. But these days I've calmed WAY down.

I just enjoy being out there for the ride. smile.gif

So Ninjarider, what kind of bike do you ride?

Just kidding. I've got a Honda VTX 1800 cruiser myself. I'm not much on weekend jaunts or just riding around but I love to travel and see the sights on the bike. You see so much more that way.
