In my short time of being a Rush fan, you'd be surprised how many imaginary concert setlists I've amassed between my ears in that time period....Yep, this is going to be yet another setlist thread by me, but I honestly think that this one in particular is perfect because not only does it give me what I want, I truly tried to appeal to every type of fan with it, whether they're prog era fans or synth era fans like me or whatever.

They should have represented every album.

Beginning with 3 songs of CA was not needed at every show after playing the entire album the tour before.

I would have preferred 1 song, 2 at the most from CA

If this was a career retrospective, every album should have been represented, Yes even T4E...although what song is difficult to say

My slightly modified setlist for every city, and Losing It should have been played every show, dont care if violin was taped

EVERYONE wanted to see that

Set One

Headlong Flight

Far Cry

The Main Monkey Business

One Little Victory

How It Is

Test for Echo

Cut To The Chase

Animate

Roll the Bones

Distant Early Warning

Between the Wheels

Losing It

Subdivisions

Intermission

Set Two

Tom Sawyer

Red Barchetta

YYZ

The Spirit of Radio

Natural Science

Jacob's Ladder

2112: I. Overture

2112: II. Temples of Syrinx

Won't somebody PLEASE think of the keyboards? Those poor, neglected keyboards....

Just hop on a "time machine" to the CA tour. Plenty of synths to go around there!

The only real changes I would make are having a HYF and T4E song (Prime Mover or Turn the Page, Driven).

Cut to the Chase is a must to at least alternate with Animate.

NO One Little Victoreeeeeeeee. How It Is was cool, but I wanted Vapor Trail.

Kid Gloves over the overdone Between the Wheels.

I agree that 3 songs from CA was overkill. They did need something from TFE. Either the title track, Driven or Resist would have been good choices.

If they knew that it would be their last major tour (or even if they suspected it would be), they should have represented every album. I agree that a present to past approach was best, but the whole stage changing thing was a little distracting. They should have changed the stage twice, once at intermission and once for the encore (just add the disco ball and the high school gym backdrop).

I think it would've been nice to have one song from each album as a base for the whole set and then expand upon that. I loved the entire concert, but there's a lot of songs from between Signals and Vapor Trails they could have played that they didn't.

I think they could have left a picture of Ray Danniels in front of a pile of money on the screens during Intermission

Intermission setlist

Money by Pink Floyd

Money for Nothing by Dire Straits

and this..........................

If anything I also think they should have represented all albums on this tour...But I AM glad that they did some of what they did....

It's unfortunate but the CA tour is the reason why 80s Rush fans ended up getting short-changed for R40

I know this would be a bit long but I can dream, can't I? I tried to get one from every album and to build off of their actual set. I also tried to squeeze in my favorites, although there's still a lot I left out.
