Bands You're Obsessing Over Right Now

Recommended Posts

Jackson Browne

Al Stewart.

born and bred on this style and maybe my fav (well....AOR but this is close to edging it out)

These singer/songwriter were off in their corner making incredable music among the heavier stuff.  i just LOVE this style of songwriting.

you can't go wrong with any album From Past Present and future through Time Passages my fav of the bunch is Modern  times. it was produced by Alan Parsons like Year of the Cat so they share a similar sound.  i think you'll like it if you haven't heard it.

Hmm 🤔… Mick… based on your strong praise & comparison with Melodic Hard Rock Gods Journey & Toto … I definitely need to delve deeper into the catalogue of Little River Band

Dude you will love LRB.  i'd say they're first 2 are not so much AOR but they become it very quick.  i recommend the albums.  Sleeper Catcher and First under the Wire

Trust me on this.

And BTW tell my friend Segue Toto IV ain't all that, lol

Thanks for your advice Mick 👍🙂

I will give those 2 albums a good listen over the weekend.😎

.. And yep Toto IV is a little bit overrated

( The Seventh One is my favourite of the more ‘ poppier ‘ Toto albums )

the Seventh one is my 2nd fav.  with Fahrenheit  being number 1.  putting the Two Joseph Williams albums as my favs (he is by far my fav Toto frontman...i just love him)

There's nothing wrong with finding a band you like and listening to them for a while. Look at me, I've been in love with The Warning for the last two months 😆
