goose
Just spent an hour breaking ice dams around the neighborhood so the gutters could drain. We're on flood alert, with heavy rains on top of a week of heavy snowfall. Yeah, I read a couple of articles on what is going on there.Be safe. :D-13:I came home soaked from the ski hill yesterday. Was literally first chair, but by the third run we were skiing in the rain. All the northwestern counties have declared a state of emergency, which clears the red tape for emergency response teams. Now we just have to wait it out. A mix of rain and snow is not good at all.Look up Truckee River and footage of downtown Reno should come up. Looks like it may breach... goose
And, of course, in spite of warnings, kayakers and paddle boarders are thrillseeking on the bloated Truckee River. Edited January 8, 2017 by goose
