So you confidence that this album will, in fact, be metal is really high?

Aye!

Aren’t these guys older than dirt too?

Richie Faulkner is 38, Andy Sneap is 49 and Scott Travis is 57.

Ah a lineup change since I saw them last.

basically because they're older than dirt :D

just arrived on my doorstep

this book is gonna bum me out. KK has years of animosity toward Glenn

KK strikes me as the kind of person who *chose* not to stand up for himself at the time and then later complains it's all the other guy's fault for being too bossy. He obviously has deep regret that he left the band and wishes he could rejoin, but is pretending otherwise.

Priest not even nominated for the rrhof this year, screw that institution. If you want to know what good rock and roll is google is such a more helpful resource. Priest are Metal Gods, and if that doesn’t certify you as hof worthy, then the hof must be garbage.

I blame it all on Turbo. They should have never released an album like that.

I dunno why people care about the hall. it's just an expensive museum

It's about people wanting the bands they like to get some mainstream recognition. Especially a band like Priest whose sound and look had a bigger impact on their genre than any other band.

shit! I would've easily traded the post-84 purple songs I sat through so I could've gotten grinder, ripper, and tyrant instead

They had to trim their set when they opened for Purple. Those songs have been in a good amount of their headline sets.

Not a bad set, but Night Comes Down/Guardians would be a restroom break for me.

Guardians is just an intro, so I don't see the big deal with having to hear it.

I just meant that if the bathroom trip took longer than NCD, it's helpful to have Guardians there too to give you a couple extra minutes. :) If Tyrant wasn't in the middle of it, I'd actually start the break at TL.

unfortunately. it's run by HUMAN BEINGS who are PRONE TO LIE, and carry out AGENDAS. View Jann Wenner's bias against RUSH....

Well Guardians is just the tape intro to Rising From Ruins which lasts about 1 minute, so it would have to be a quick piss break for that one.

HOLY f**k, THEY`RE ACTUALLY COMING TO PRINCE GEORGE. Our last metal shows were Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat and Avenged Sevenfold, all within six months in 2013. We also had Motorhead come to town back in 2005 or 2006. I heard the announcement 6 hours ago and still don't fully believe it. Edited by Cygnus 2112

Odd that they're doubling up in some of these cities. I wouldn't consider Albany a hot bed for metal. But it's the only other show they're playing in New York state that is outside of the New York city region. Maybe they figured they can pull in strong enough crowds from around the state for both shows. Albany is a five hour drive and that's as close as they're getting to where I am.

Too bad the Canadian dates didn't have anything for southern Ontario.

It's also on a weekend so they must imagine folks will turn out. Also surprised at no PA or OH shows either

Yet they're hitting seemingly every city in British Columbia.
