"Spreading The Disease" is by far Scott's greatest drumming of all time. My God I am listening to this song right now.

It's.....

IMMACULATE!

Scott was a super nice guy when I talked to him a couple times. I still can't believe Tate spit on him in front of fans. What an asshole...

When Geoff Tate, was the lead singer up until Queensryche's Dedicated to Chaos, I've liked them. I continue listening to them. Edited by Derek19

Sorry Derek. I can only tolerate Geoff Taint up to "Hear In The Now Frontier."

That's the album where they started turning to shit. You could tell DeGarmo's heart just wasn't in it anymore.

The debut EP through Promised Land is a great run though.

OMG! YES!

You nailed it yet again. You are on fire J.

I loved "Promised Land." Until I saw the damn tour at the Concord Pavilion.

It was half empty not half full.

They did that lame ass theatrical bar scene on the stage. Scott had a pink sparkle jazz kit. It made me throw up a bit in my mouth.

I know the Mighty Ryche were done that night.

Ryche without DeGarmo is like a Cobra Mustang without an engine.

Fuckk that.

It's so sad to me.

Back in the day my top three singers were always....

HALFORD

MERCURY

TATE

Tate is erased from this.

Yet I love their past.

I met Ryche many times in my life.

They were always cool.

The coolest was when they were at my local record store called The Record Exchange.

It was 1983. They were promoting their new EP in downtown Walnut Creek.

I would save my lunch money when I was in high school to buy metal cassettes and vinyl.

One day after school I went there and the Ryche were there. All in black leather and big dark hair.

I was intimidated. I walked in and bought their ep on vinyl.

Carried it home on my bike. Put it on my stereo and fell in love.

I did the same thing with RATT.

1983.

RATT was in Walnut Creek promoting their new EP.

I walked in and bought it.

I fell in love.

So you see why I'm such a RATT Freak. Ryche guy.

I can't help how I grew up as a kid.

A RUSH nerd falling love with Accept, Savatage, RATT, Ryche, Motley, Poison, on and on and on.

It's in my soul.

I am soooooo happy I was born in 1968.

For my brain, I grew up in the Golden Age of Metal and Hard Rock......... Prog too.

RUSH ON!

Earl, maybe, for having a third, and or more, than a third top singer of yours, how, and what about adding Bruce Dickinson? I think he's been another great one to have on a list.

1985 and they're opening for KISS on the Animalize tour at the Arena in Seattle and absolutely fukking blow them off the stage. I had seen KISS in '76 and thought it was excellent so I was no KISS hater, but they seemed lifeless compared to Q'ryche that night. In fairness to them, it was the Ryche's hometown so no doubt they put everything into their performance. But still, the difference was palpable.

I also feel Ryche died when DeGarmo left.
