So, which of these three great albums is your favourite?

Share your thoughts on the album(s) and the reason for your choice.

I confess..I can't quite decide which is tops for me.

I don't like any of them.

Except for most of one:

Lamb.

Ya know, I like to go back and listen to things that I might not have given the chance or simply overlooked

This is probably the most tedious thing I have listened to in ... ummm ... listened to ever

Agreed.

I don't dislike it anywhere near as much as I do The Wall.

Honestly all of em are f***ing great. I devoured the Wall. Quadro has some of the greatest moments in all Who music.

But Lamb, there is just something about it...

The story on the inside cover is cool too. So mysterious, so bizarre.

Your threads always entice me to try new things, or revisit stuff that left me cold.

I look forward to many more!

ok, about an hour in Lamb, and I'll tell ya right now, this is the winner hands down

I will still listen to The Wall in its entirety, but of the three albums here, I am most familiar with The Wall and I have never liked anything about it

Some of the musical sections here on Lamb Lies Down are fantastic - Tony Banks is great and IMHO should have been more a focal point ... The music is so good in sections I am able to overlook Peter Gabriel's god awful annoying voice

RGLT, another great thread .. Apologies if I am coming across as critical ....

But truth be told, Snow Goose would kick butt in this contest

In all honesty, Genesis are one band I have yet to really delve into HARD. I have heard nearly all the Gabriel era, and it is by far my favourite era for the band. I just need to get on with it and enjoy the music.

Because they are terrific. No doubt about it!

Segs, I have been a Genesis fan since I first heard Misunderstanding in 1980. Thats about 5 years before I got into Rush and about 5 years before I even knew what Progressive Rock was. Been a fan of both, basically ever since.

And of course Another Brick was a HUGE song around the same time. That would have made me about 7 years old. Parents owned the Wall album and I used to stare at the inside cover and read they lyrics for hours just devouring it.
