Lost In Xanadu
On The Drive, out of Chicago, they do a daily feature called "10 at 10" in which they play 10 songs from a year (they choose a year, usually 1965-1985) at 10:00. Today the year was 1981. They started out with one of Lorraine's favorite... "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic". I thought maybe we can do this...Give 10 songs you love from the year given by the previous poster, then add a year of your own for the next poster.... Let's use today's year from The Drive as a starting point... 1981

The Analog Cub
1987 not a fine year for rock music IMO. Someone else can have that one.
Lorraine
Good idea for a thread! I agree though about 1987. Looking at the top 100 songs from the year, you can see how music was changing. I'll pass too.

I'm not sure if it was the first place to do it, but the former host, Dave Morey made the show amazing until he retired about 5 years ago. A different host kept the show running until the station fired the entire on air staff a couple of weeks ago. RIP 10@
