Digital Dad
I took a lot of effort for me to grow to love this album. It is probably my favorite of the synth era albums, but I don't count Signals with that group. Signals is more Moving Pictures than GUP. But is GUP more PoW or Signals?? Segue Myles
Bar one song, which I like more than most of Signals, Grace Under Pressure would be my favourite Rush album. But it dips, which my top three never do. Adore the album. Absolutely head over heels in love with it.
greg2112
Vividly remember that day... I went to the record store to pick it up, and listened to the album over and over for days, pouring over the lyrics. great memories.
grep
My second 'new' rush album. Bought it on release dau, just like signals. (i actually called anthem to find out the exact day) Brought it home and placed that record at least 5 times. Really got a good liking for Afterimage, Body, Kid Gloves, and the mighty Between The Wheels. Which is still a top 10 rush song for me. Love the cover and art. The Deborah Samuel egg photo... And just the yoythful, and yet dark sound of the record. P/g Ps: I am convinced that is Starman looking at KAL flight 007 on the cover Edited April 29, 2016 by grep
toymaker
Vividly remember that day... I went to the record store to pick it up, and listened to the album over and over for days, pouring over the lyrics. great memories. For some reason I have a very vivid memory of buying and listening to that album for the first time, as well - more so than the albums that came before or after. Strange. MusicHead
While I listened to 2112 many moons previously, g/p was my true "Gateway Album" to the greatness that is Rush.
