For all his faults and worts I should shun him. If he walked into my cigar lounge during one of his motorcycle tours I'd pour him a Macallan 25 year. Pretending I didn't know who he was so I could chat with him longer.

If you pour him a Macallan you will give yourself away, he will down it in no time flat and go storming out the door.

Just plop a Budweiser bottle down on the bar and don't even bother to give him a glass. Call him "Bud." Say, "Here you go, Bud!"

It will work like a charm. ;)

i don't use caps because i'm too lazy.

i've been thinking about starting though because maybe it would make me look more intelligent?

If you don't use caps then Neil won't respond to your fan mail.

SO I SHOULD WRITE LIKE THIS?

Ha! No that would turn him off too -- but at least cap his name. And yea he will find you more intelligent, not ignorant like the rest of us fans. Show some respect for the dude and all. ;)

I'll always be grateful to Neil for signing my Rolling Stone Magazine cover and taking the time to print ever so nicely "To Lorraine". :)

He's probably the only one that could spell it. ;)

But I thought they all studied French in the 80's? Surely they are familiar then with quiche and swiss cheese and French provinces and stuff.

The Canadian spelling is La Reine.

Gotta push through to at least three pages...need to say something witty and brilliant...ummm...uhhhh...

I always thought that of the three, Neil would smell the worst. Not just after a show or a long ride, but even in his quiet time. He just doesn't seem like he'd care enough about what others think of him to focus on personal hygiene.

I think that is what he wrote The Enemy Within about. Or was it Vapor Trails?

Neil (Neal) is a masculine given name of Gaelic origin. The name is an Anglicization of the Irish Niall which is of disputed derivation. The Irish name may be derived from words meaning "cloud", "passionate", or "champion". As a surname, Neil is traced back to Niall of the Nine Hostages who was an Irish king and eponymous ancestor of the Uí Néill and MacNeil kindred. Most authorities cite the meaning of Neil in the context of a surname as meaning champion. Edited by Wil1972

I'm offended you didn't capitalize the "n" in neil in your thread title.

He has legally changed his name to neil with a lowercase N and a 4 pt font in order to draw less attention to himself.

Maybe he should just go by "neil", like "Cher", or "Madonna".
