A top 15:

1 First Blood

2 Rocky

3 Rocky III

4 Rocky 2

5 Lock Up (Donald Sutherland and Sonny Landham steal the day, LEEEEEONIEEEEEEEEEE!)

6 Escape to Victory (Stalone's soccer version of the Great Escape)

7 Demolition Man

8 Rocky IV

9 Copland

10 Tango and Cash (Jack Palance helps this one out)

11 Cobra (The 80's Dirty Harry with Dirty Harry actors)

12 Nighthawks

13 Assassins

14 The Specialist (James Woods lends a hand)

15 Judge Dredd

What about Rocky Balboa or Creed? I don't know where they'd fall exactly but I'd rank them higher than Judge Dredd (hate Rob Schneider), Assassins, and Demolition Man.

I haven't seen Creed yet.

Demolition Man

That movie is the action movie precursor to Idiocracy. Brilliant dystopian future satire disguised as a Stallone action flick. I even did Leary's monologue as a project for an acting course in college.

I think I should rewatch that.

One of the movie channels was showing that a few months back. The movie is most definitely dated as far as set direction and costumes, but otherwise it held up surprisingly well, mostly due to a deliciously over-the-top Wesley Snipes.

I'll have to think about this a minute.

Allow me to help, since I'm pretty sure I know which one you'd put at the....wait for it....TOP.

Lincoln Hawk. Shit name for a shit movie.

Still, I can enjoy parts of it...from that fat, bald villain badly screaming, "Get in here! Come on!" to those stupid pre-arm wrestling match interviews with the contestants. And Robert Loggia is never bad.

No I thought this one was a bit of a weak effort. It seemed like Stalone was trying to do Rocky as an arm wrestler and maybe it was his answer to Top Gun. This flick has got what I would call the quintessential 80's Georgio Morodor action flick soundtrack, complete with contributions from the usual suspects Eddie Money, Kenny Loggins, Sammy Hagar and even Sly's brother Frank,

My suggestion couldn't have been more sarcastic. I figured the movie was bad enough to make that obvious. :P

That must have been tough to perfect. A lot of words thrown together really fast, of course he is known for that.

Great Sammy tune from this movie. Some Eddie Van Halen on this...playing bass, I think. 2:47 gives Eddie's presence away.

I forgot that video. Great nostalgia! I love Sammy pounding his skull before kicking Sly's ass!

He's my favorite part of the movie. That and Sandra Bullock.

I saw Nighthawks on Starz a few years ago which I recommend.  Underrated Stallone and his first true action hero role with Billy Dee Williams and Rutger Hauer as the villain in his breakthrough.  It was originally gonna be a French Connection 3 until Gene Hackman turned it down and then got rewritten with different characters and moved from Fox to Universal.  That plot twist ending is slightly silly, though, and those who've seen it know what I mean.
