nice question

Rush couldnt exist without Al's guitar obvs. i'll go with that.

but yeah, take out any single element; neils percussion/lyrics, geds bass and compositional ability, and the band falls to pieces.

i still say Al's sound is easily the soul of Rush. no question.

Listening to the debut will suggest that you're dead right.

I see a ton of air drummers at their shows. That's saying something right?

That fans are the true heart of RUSH?

^^^^ This

I knew goose was my kinda guy upon first meeting. At the Seattle show he texted me during the concert. He had no ticket when he got there, ended up in the suites. I was front row, leaning against the barrier answering his texts during Xanadu.

Apparently he was eating prime rib before texting me.
