I've only recently started getting into their music. I absolutely adore their latest album!

Gojira are amazing, extreme but perfect for fans of bands like Opeth and for others who miss the heavier side if Mastodon.

Earthside is another good new band. They've worked with people like Daniel Tompkins from TesseracT and Lajon Witherspoon as well as having an orchestra on their debut. I would definitely recommend them :)

Also Knight Area. Not the heaviest group but their Hyperdrive album is great.

I just picked up Magma. Pretty good album. :haz:

I saw them open up for Mastodon a couple years ago. Pretty intense band.

Is that the same voyger that had to change there name to like vyger or something? Then they changted it back?

Anyways thanks will check out

I've no idea and I'm too lazy right now to look it up. haha

I read a review about the new album and it said that they're Australien underground prog metal and that was enough for me to check out the album. I think it needs a few listens to really dig it, but it has some great hooks and it grows very fast (well at least on me). Fat production.
